Computer Setup

Next on the agenda: checking the wiring to the space bar.
Somebody understood the joke. Small tear
What card is that?
I'll ask again. What gpu is that
Fully unlocked Tahiti chip.
K im gonna guess with a gtx 780.
Oh you were asking what graphics card I am using! A pair of HD 7970 ghz editions, about to be upgraded to 780s
Impressed at the case insides. Not a big prodigy fan, but I cannot deny it is well built.
My gaming setup is a lot like yours, except for the cablemanagementandthenicestuff...
:O :O :O You managed to get 2 cards in the Prodigy.. i wish i could bookmark this 100 times just for that
Allow me to mess with your mind
I knew I had seen this somewhere before. Awesome little case with a ton of power!
Those chairs are bad ass , whered you get them?
A small business around close to me went bankrupt. I asked the CEO what he was going to do with the stuff, and bid on a pair of the chairs in the same sentence. The Laptop is from there as well.
Cool setup! If you ever make speakers again, I imagine having an angled shelf below the tweeter is less than ideal though.
Wait a minute. This is cheating! You didn't connect the computer or the monitors. Of course it looks clean now!
Digging the speakers! They're a little ugly aesthetically-challenged, but anything DIY is instantly cool.
Considering they are 20 years old, I think they fit right into their design purpose when they were designed :P
What makes your life as a student ant more nomadic than mine?
Probably no reason. It just takes more effort to do a hobby when you don't have a large space to keep your hobby-related items.
Ahh, the joys of moving. I remember that from my exchange year in US - Laptop gaming with no external monitor it was
Well I ended up bringing my desktop to Germany. It was worth it for the long winter, but carrying a desktop on an international flight was definitely a pain.
Just place it on the seat next to you and tell the crew it's your best friend. By the way, did you have to change your power supply? 110v and 230v?
How's the chair? At first I thought they were steel case leap chairs.
They are very good, nice and firm cushions that prevent you from sliding on them, but is still soft enough to not hurt from sitting on en prolonged times. They are extremely adjustable and overall superb build quality. Pretty expensive, but that is only to expect from a high quality office chair. Aeron miller, I'm looking at you.
What about that photo hanging on the wall? (Or wait, is it just a black board with those stars stuck on it?)
I game with a headset. The speakers placement is perfect for filling the room with sound, when I am watching movies or listening to music while drinking tea, reading a book, fucking a girl, murdering a teacher, being communist ect. I do agree that the placement is less than Ideal for actual usage for the computer.
Its the teas fault
Green tea made me communist too. I bet the Chinese put something in it...
Yeah man, I bet they did .. !
You are right! Although I cannot tell if its the ridiculously nice picture picture of them that is selling them (Like half of the posts on this very sub ehem), or they really do look amazing. I bet they do, but I think I can "borrow" some of their design aspects and put it to good use with my own. Thank you a whole lot for the picture though, great to have as a reminder of what to do, when you want design to be right!
I'm looking at them right now and I can promise you they look the same in person!
A White Nexus 5 would go great with that setup.
I like that I am not the only European here :D but nice rig :D
It's Gnome for sure, could be anything really.
Ubuntu 13.10 with Gnome 3
I don't have one, sorry
Love that space backdrop, where'd you find it?
Where did you get that space black out blind?
Which distro are you running on your Macbook Air? I recently bought one and I was thinking about throwing Fedora on there. Did you have to use the stupid "Super Drive" by Apple or whatver it was?
Could you explain what the speakers are covered in? They look like art, haha.
What distro of Linux do you have on that MacBook Air? Does it have a Haswell CPU?
