I just saw this posted on the LTT. Hello brotheren
Hi :) Had to share here too, I only found this coolcomputersetups a couple of days ago.
Put the psu cables in the hdd caddy in the empty space under your other drive. I have also been known to run them behind the motherboard tray and then into the extra 5.25 bays with the extra slack zip tied up. I had a 1200w non modular psu so I got pretty good at hiding cables.
Under the HDD rests my SSD on the bottom of the case, I'd like that to be seen. I've tried hiding them behind the MB tray but there isn't enough gap ( not with all the other cables routed behind it as well anyway). I might just have to invest in a modular PSU, but my experience with modular has been less than satisfactory. I had an OCZ 750W modular and for some unknown reason it wouldn't power this rig :S
OCZ has been known to make some bad PSU's. The fact that a PSU is modular shouldn't effect how it works. If you get a modular one just make sure to buy one from a good brand, Corsair, Coolermaster, Silverstone etc.
Ya know, right after I read your comment I gave it another try. I got them all behind the tray, it was a tight squeeze let me tell you, but nothing is pressing on any components so it should be fine. Thanks :)
