Believe it or not, your local print shop might be able to help you out. They either sublet job orders like that or they do it in house. I work at an Alphagraphics (printshop) here in AZ and we use a Zund G3 Cutter and would be able to do lettering like this but up to 2 inches only.

Ah amazing that someone else uses Zund as well :) I work at a printing company and we have one there :) Fantastic thing!

The bamboo could also point to an illustrator or concept artist. Those people all have one, and typography isn't required in either job.

Please. Even from a guy with a Z in my username, I can confidently say that this is an awkwardly executed design. Just because this guy says he is a designer doesn't make the wall art any less redicu-stupid. And... it is stealing the visual focus from his system.

I have no problem with that, what I have a problem with is that he thinks he has some sort of right to say who is a graphic designer and who isn't because he is one. basically his being a pretensions assholes.

Well, it's the truth, I am (a graphic designer, not a cunt). And whatever is on his wall is bad design, not my fault. Maybe OP made it himself, and he likes it, and that's great, good for him! But you won't find me saying anything positive about the aesthetics of it. So if anyone goes "oh wow he must be a graphic designer", I'll go "well no, he probably isn't". Where do I get the authority to say this? Years of experience. Am I bashing OP by saying this? No. So you can stop your white knight, name calling, childish bullshit, because you're not defending anyone here, you're just making an ass out of yourself, misinterpreting everything I've said so far.
