Where did you find light blue thick pbt key caps? I've been looking for some for my shine 3.

I got them off ebay from GeekFeng. He always has some nice keycaps in stock.

Love it. Unfortunately there isn't much room for upgrading or adding peripherals but if you're content with what you have than I think it is great!

Why does everyone keep their computers on desks? Why not just put it on the ground?

My tower isn't on a desk, its on a shelving unit beside my desk. I did it because I have a cat and live in a climate that is dry and prone to dust. Even with dust filters on every intake, I still prefer to keep my tower off the carpet. I also have 2 air intake on the bottom of the case that I don't want to block off. Other than that I like it for practical reasons like its easier to access the inside for cleaning.

Where did you get that shelving unit? It looks to be exactly what I need for my own desk.

I got them from Home Depot a few months back. They were $20 (not on sale). They are really sturdy and I am really happy with them.

If you have a carpeted floor and/or pets, it can can cause a lot of dust issues. Otherwise it is just a matter of preference, as some people have windowed cases and want to see their parts.
