You forgot the cat. What kind of cat is it?
She's a Himalayan furball. Her name is Mille.
A purrrfect amount. HA! See what I did there?
That is an awesome setup!
Great setup! Great poster. I'm interested, is this setup loud? Been thinking of updating my PSU and chassis to yours.
Nah, it's not loud at all. I have 2x200mm and 3x120mm fans going.
I've got the same Sennheisers. They've lasted me almost 5 years now I think!
Thanks! I'm thinking abut mounting the monitor on the wall. Not sure yet.
Nah, don't mount it on the wall. The monitor would be too small for that distance, plus it looks better on the desk anyways.
Yeah, I just mounted it but I don't like it. Back to the stand it goes!
If you could run the wires through the wall I think that would look even better.
Nah, I can't put the cords through the wall. I'll probably just get some type of cover that adheres to the wall.
It's from IKEA. I don't think they sell it anymore. I don't know the model. Sorry.
Ikea Jerker. As OP said, it's discontinued.
Banana hanger? Wow! I've got the same headset and it looks like a perfect fit. Guess I know what I'll be getting soon. Lol
Dear God those bananas look so delicious. Thanks for the link though!
Nice setup, what camera do you use?
What's the case like? Thinking about getting the case for a new build. What's the airflow like during heavy gaming and how is the sound? Thanks!
I love the case. There's a ton of room inside and the airflow is good. It has a 200mm fan on the front and a 200mm fan on the top. The clear side panel can be removed and replaced with a mesh screen that you can mount 4 120mm fans. It's not very loud at all. Although I'm used to the sound of it so maybe I just tone it out.
Sorry, what about dust filters? Can you install 2 x 120mm or 140mm fans in the front?
You can replace the top 200mm with two 120mm fans. I don't think you can replace the front though. There's removable dust filters on both the front and top. They're very easy to remove and clean.
Diggin the Paperwhite. So much better than reading on a color tablet.
Yeah, I thought about getting a tablet but it just seems pointless if I have an iPhone already. You can't beat the battery life on the Paperwhite either!
Whats the media card reader?
It's just some generic one made by Sony. I don't think they sell it anymore. I just checked Newegg and can't find it.
Awesome setup! It looks like we have very similar taste, I have the same case, and am getting the k70 and galant desk from ikea, also I'm looking at purchasing the G930 headset. What can you tell me about them from personal use? Sound quality, mic quality, build quality, etc.?
What key switches do you use and how does 60Hz feel in BF4?
The K70 came with reds. My previous keyboard was blues. I miss the clicky but the reds are pretty nice to type on. They feel a little more responsive than blues. 60 Hz is fine in BF4. I actually only recently bought this monitor. I originally bought the BenQ XL2420T 120 Hz monitor. I returned it though. The color and gamma was so bad on that thing, even when calibrated. 120 Hz is great if you're able to get over 60 fps in games. Other than that, it's not worth it. Until 120 Hz is implemented into an IPS panel I wouldn't bother. I'd rather have a color accurate monitor though because I do a lot of photography in my spare time. The Dell U2412M is amazing out of the box. I really didn't need to change anything except for the brightness.
I'm debating if what switches to get on a K95, I'm thinking about reds or browns. I never have played FPS games on a 60Hz monitor, do you feel that 60 FPS is enough?
Well, if you aren't used to 60Hz then it might seem a little choppy at first but you'll get used to it. How could you have not played a FPS at 60Hz? 120Hz monitors have only been available for a short time.
I cant run any games other than TF2 because I'm on my laptop on vacation and its been awhile since I've been on my main rig. Even on my main rig I have yet to play any FPS games other that TF2 and BO2 so I don't really have a feel for BF4 ~
What speakers are they?
Slick setup and nice photos!
I literally just bought them yesterday. I like them so far. I also have the Bose QC15. They're pretty good. I use them if I travel.
I see the LCD-2 on the left there, but what's on the right? Is it a Hifiman of some sort?
Good eye and yep, that's my HE-500's.
