Isn't the TEK programmable as well?

As far as I know, yes, but the software is Windows only. It has DIP switches for the rest of us. I could probably borrow someone else's Windows machine to program it, but It's pretty easy to hack on the Linux input stack to make any keyboard do whatever you want, which is precisely what I've done. That's why I got the JIS-capable version: more keys to play with.

Well, if you work with your keyboard all day it would be worth it.

Thanks! Yeah, browns. I think all the TEKBs have browns. I knew it was kinda crazy-pants to get blanks on something with such an unusual layout, but I just kept a picture of it by me for a couple of days and it was all good. There is also a command line utility for Linux called xev that will tell you what key you're pressing, among other things. I found that useful as well. So glad I went with blanks. It was very little pain, and it looks the sex.

She's a beauty! My other nice keyboard is a Happy Hacking Keyboard Pro2, and I really want to get blanks for it as well, but I'm waiting for now because it's like $70 for a set.

... there are coding/programming glasses?

What's your honest opinion on the glasses? I'm a daily gamer and programmer as well as general computer addict, and my eyes often get strain. I've considered grabbing a pair of the glasses, but currently the price tag has been keeping me away.

I use this program called Flux that dims the screen slightly and makes it easier on the eyes. I heard it kind of does what the glasses do, but I'm not sure. I know it helps if you're room is dim and you don't want to stare at a really bright screen.

Use f.lux instead, and stay away from things with white backgrounds. I use custom themes with black/dark grey backgrounds for everything from Sublime Text to Visual Studio to even coolcomputersetups just to avoid looking at what is basically a lightbulb all day.

What's the ViewSonic monitor model? Is it a VX2370?

When I'm interupted, I ask the person if I can get back to them in however many minutes I have left on the timer. That usually works. It probably depends a lot on your work environment. I'm sure you're not the only person to have this problem, so you could Google it or search Stack Overflow.

Are you coding Python on your Nexus? What app are you using?

I don't actually code on my Nexus, but as the picture shows, I could. This screenshot is an ssh connection to my laptop, running vim. The ssh connection is inside of a program called 'Terminal IDE.' In addition to SSH, the terminal has most of the GNU coreutils, vim, gcc, and tools for compiling android packages from Java source. It's a little taste of Unix in your pocket. Very nice. It actually allows you to develop for android on android. It's like inception.

It's not ideal, and I wouldn't use it for gaming or image editing (got a Razer for that anyway), but it's good enough for clicking buttons and what not, and it's better than further agitating my right hand when it begins to bug me.
