Computer Setup

Very similar to my own setup, I also have a white 600t, k90 keyboard and 15" MBP w/SSD, very nice setup man

Same mouse and keyboard here. I trust you're using the USB pass through on the keyboard for the unifying receiver?

Actually I like using the usb passthrough on the keyboard for the external drive, that way it can sit on the desk while I use it, the cable is too short to keep it on the desk while plugged to the top of the 600T. The mouse receiver is on top of the desk, between the right speaker and the amplifier, using the extension provided in the original package.

God damn it op...why cant you let me enjoy having my dell inspiron 6400 that i recently upgraded without being bashed back down because you guys can blow 1700 on a MBP?

It's mostly my girlfriend's laptop, I prefer the desktop.

Still...as someone who has a laptop worth maybe 75 bucks(ram worth 80..retail) and a desktop with no X16 slot(a capacitor blew on my soundcard and popped the pins off so i took it out as no place would repair it..so now im using my 16MB integrated card to game on linux..im still fucking jealous..

What speakers you got there?

Not sure, I live in Portugal and it's still pretty hard to find Edifier products here.

The only thing that irks me as that the MacBook covers one of the speakers. I used to do that too and then I realized the audio was really unbalanced.

The laptop is usually closed when I listen to music. The desktop is the main computer, not the laptop.

Placing your speakers next to your monitor, do you get proper sound to your ears, because I have to put my speakers on the end (corners) of my desk to get the sound to properly cross my head. Note: I do not have the same speakers as you

I used to have them spread apart when I had the xbox on the desk and they sounded about the same, didnt notice a difference really.

I have the same mouse, and I think it is probably the best $100 I have ever spent.

I'm not a teenager, by that I mean I use all of this equipment for a lot more than just play games.

Doesnt really matter if people downvote me or not, I posted here so people can see what I did with my workplace and maybe take some ideas on what to do to their own. That is what I did when I started. If someone doesnt like it I couldnt care less. I like it and I'm happy with it.
