To game properly. Dual monitor doesnt really work for gaming. (or so i hear(?))

Not in an fps, you'd have the reticule right where the bezels meet. in a sim like dcs warthog you can have your game on one screen and the gauges and displays on the other screen.

Don't forget Eve. I've got 4 monitors, and typically run either 2 or 4 clients at once.

I'm gonna sound extremely stupid with the following question, but I have to know; how did you connect all those screens together ?

My guess is that 3 and 3 are connected to different PC`s in Eyefinity trought the GPU, since OP listed specs of 4 different computers.

Lets say I have 3 monitors. If my friend comes over and wants to play a game on one monitor but I want to browse the internet can we do this with just one PC and just an extra keyboard and mouse?

Nope. There's only one input channel for keyboards and mice.
