I love your cable management. Not of enough cable management on gaming setups.
I love the cable management too, for the most part. In the living room, are you not allowed to drill through the wall and run the wires behind the wall? Personally, seeing a sliver of wires snake up to the the TV drives me up the wall.
Have to wonder, why the two Wiis?
I was given one as compensation for services rendered.
I plan to jailbreak one and leave the other stock.
Haha I currently have 2 Wiis sat on each other like that. There's really no point keeping a stock one though, the jailbreak is so easy and there's no disadvantages.
Yeah. The Wii is like the Original Xbox in that if you mod it, it's perfectly okay to go online with it. I still have my modded Wii and it's been very good to me.
Indeed, it's really easy to mod as well. Nintendo are pretty relaxed, though I did manage to get my Wii banned from online by messing around on Mario Kart. I could spawn pretty much any item I wanted with a combination of buttons. I gave myself 35000VR (max is supposed to be 9999), killed people all race, then purposefully came last and watched as everyone gained over 1000 points at once. I got banned, but it's also ridiculously easy to bypass a Wii that's banned from online with Mac spoofing. Haven't done that in a while anyway.
Yeah, I had an early wii with BootMii as boot2. I only fucked up badly enough to have to use it once, but that was because I was messing around with skins. That said, even if you have it the moment that you screw up just gives butterflies. Personally, I love my modded Wii. Playing SNES with the classic controller is probably the closest you'll get to the real thing these days.
The original Xbox required you to keep your C: partition unchanged and kept stock, or you would get banned off Live.
I don't remember all the details, but that sounds about right. I remember that I had a d and e partition and I always wanted to install a larger hard drive but never got around to it. That said, 10gb on stock was a hell of a lot of memory back then. I used Krazy's Ndure myself. Those were the days.
I had a 200gb hd put in mine. I got my Xbox modified very late during the life cycle of the Xbox though so it meant games stopped being produced shortly after I dropped around £200 on the modchip + HD install.
I believe it lets you play homebrew games/emulators.
Also run games from USB.
Isn't that 360 going to fry? cable boxes get roasty.
It should be fine. I only run one at a time, and heat rises which is why the cable box is on top.
But the box is on the 360's vent. Mine over heated once just because I had a DVD case on the vent... just a heads up.
Is that a door for ants??
Utility closet for the AC and Heater.
Needs a bigger TV, small one looks goofy :)
I agree, though this is very low on my list of priories.
Your receiver is going to fry with no ventilation. Vents are on top and you have very minimal space for the heat to escape. It'll just start randomly shutting off on you.
I'll watch for that, thanks.
If need be, I'll throw a couple PC fans in the case.
Indeed it is, so is the coffee table and TV stand.
Can you remember the name of the desk? I'm looking for something similar.
Beautiful... but damn, your living room needs a bigger TV. No offense, it just seems small w/ that setup.
Can we see it with the monitors on? :)
Is the dell soundbar you got there good?
It lacks true highs and lows but is does the job.
Which top is that? Trying to find one that will hold tri-27's.
So uhh.. what's with the other 5 machines and that hot swap bay you got there...
Excellent job on all the cable management. Everything looks super clean and professional.
