Computer Setup

Is that an ikea shelf that the computer is on?
How do you like the G930's?
Mic quality suffers due to being wireless. The 7.1 is a gimmick and the bass drowns out everything.
The other option I was thinking about would be sennheiser 558's with a modmic
I havent noticed any of that. They are just a really solid headset.
Have you ever owned a pair of quality headphones though?
Gaming headphones are gamer gear trash.
Ive tested my friends and ive used my brothers yamaha 5.1 actual surround system. Ill also say, these g930s are more comfortable than anything else. Ear piece goes completely around my ear and makes not contact.
I thought my corsair 1500's were good until I tried my buddy's ath-m50's. Wish I would've forked over the little bit extra.
You should! As an owner of ATH-500's and a FiiO E10, they sound incredible.
The 1500's are pretty comfortable, but get a little annoying after 1-2 hours of continuous use. just a bit tight around the ears.
I lost both my G930. They were very good, unfortunately the left speaker stopped working. The issue with my second G930 happened to be the microphone breaking. I readjusted it and it litterally broke.
I have a similar headset. A little bulkier looking and corded, but they're really not all that great. They're rather hit or miss on games. The synthesized surround sound just doesn't cut it.
I forgot this is Coolcomputersetups and I can't have an opinion without being downvoted
You're allowed the opinion but you need to realise that it's wrong in the eyes of people who know what good audio hardware is like.
That literally made no sense. Quality is completely subjective.
Bahahaha that actually made me chuckle
OP already replied but I want to also say I really like mine. I'm not an audiophile so going with wired headphones and an amplifier was a bit overkill so I picked up the G930s. Mic is crystal clear, software is decent, sound quality is plenty good for me, they are quite comfortable, have good battery life, and great range (I can walk from my pc to my garage which is around 30-40ft and through 2 walls and still get signal). I'm very pleased with them.
Amazing. I got some minor interference issues when I first got them but I just moved the usb receiver and have had no issues since
Good to hear, I was thinking about buying them
Hey OP do you have a link for that Tumbler wallpaper?
I've got that case as well, and I love it--especially the reset button.
I never bothered to set up the reset button on my case- care to explain what it does?
It's just like a hard reset. If you press it, it'll reset your system, regardless of what you're doing. It's handy because it saves you a couple of seconds from holding down the power button and pressing it again for a "traditional" (or whatever the hell) hard reset.
Another Aggie on r/gaming setups! What class are you?
How's that keyboard, thinking about getting the small type
Sweet! I've got a corsair 350d with a green theme. What case lighting do you have? cathodes? LED? and what brand/item? It looks as if you have a cathode strip on the top?
How do you find the Havik 140? Did you need Low Profile ram?
That setup is so damn similar to mine.
Get a SSD mate! You'll love it.
I have that headset as well. I like it overall, my only problem so far is the fact that they don't work with Payday 2.
Ya, I have a similar headset as well and it fails completely on Payday 2. The sound is terrible and you can't tell where it is coming from in normal mode, and surround mode completely cuts out microphones.
My experience is that my mic doesn't work at all with PayDay 2.
