I ordered an Ikea Markus this weekend and then there were three posts today featuring them. How are you liking it? Is it holding up well?
Mine is wonderful. Was a bit apprehensive about the price, initially. But then I thought, "My ass will be occupying this space for hours every day, for years to come". That made it a no brainer.
Well I sell ergonomic chairs for a living, and while I was tempted to get something like a Herman Miller aeron, this chair is great, for the price it is very comfortable for me, but I'd certainly suggest going to an IKEA to try one for yourself, as it may not suit everyone, my girlfriends a lot shorter than me and finds the chair too big
Nub question. What were you using to get the specs read out, specifically with the temperatures.
Speccy by Piriform, free download, can't link as on mobile, but you'll find it on google
Where did you get the LED strip, im looking for a 24 inch blue led strip.
Looks like something from ikea. They have a couple sets that you can select the color on. Usually sold as an accessory for tv's.
Yep its from IKEA, this one you can change the colour using a dial, it was about £30. But if your looking for just one colour, amazon have loads of options that will be cheaper
Okay im guessing something like that would just plug into the outlet on a wall right?
Yep it plugs into a wall outlet, to a junction box and them you can configure it how you want, it comes as four light strips, that can be positioned where you want, mine are a straight line, but you could have them frame the back of a TV for instance, I used to have them like that
That desk has a lot of legs.
It does indeed, moving its a bitch, it is two separate desks, (1 corner desk, 1 rectangular) hence the amount of legs
I've that monitor, stand is very wobbly. Had to change the stand.
Buy yourself a decent sound card and pair of speakers and you're set.
I dunno how great those monitors are. I can see extensive backlight bleed even tho the pictures were taken back from afar.
What's the name of that desk? It's from Ikea too, that's the only thing I know.
Balance is a little off lol:
The card does what I need (3 monitors) and I've not had any issues running games at full settings as of yet, but it will certainly be the first thing I upgrade in future, it was built on a budget at the time
I'm running a 6870 and I've not had any trouble at full settings either, though I have found a few games where it can get choppy if the AA is up high so I tend to turn that down or off. I can never tell the difference anyway.
