Computer Setup

They look amazing! I actually planning on building a desk soon! So I wanted to ask a few questions;
Also - I used a veneer iron-on edge banding for the plywood since it has a rough unattractive edge by default.
Added a picture to the album of the underside supports (never mind my sorry as painting on the underside)
Awesome, that answers pretty much everything. Thanks!
So the MDF is the board that comes down from the back and another 1/2 ply under the top and against the mdf for support?
The 1x2 was a piece of poplar (I think) that I just cut to length.
I was confused about the other desk but that answers that! Can't wait to see what it looks like!
I don't know what you're talking about. I really like those pictures
Chicago is fucking awesome. Here's my background for my triple monitor setup.
Which exact keyboard model is that? Corsair K-- ?
Great looking project, but Temple of Doom? really? :p
They should have chosen a higher quality Indy movie like "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull"
Is there any sort of public place that rents out equipment to complete a job like this? I have a perfect nook in my living room I'd like to build a custom filler for but don't have the saws, clamps, measuring tools, etc. Not sure if home depot would have the whole list of things I'd need.
Home Depot, Lowes, Rona, or whatever is nearest usually have a tool rental section that should have everything you need. Quickly googled' Home Depot and they have an online rental catologue you can check out.
Im looking into building a desk myself! Any tips?
Nice, a Logitech G602 :) I got one too. Bought it at the end of October and didn't have to change the batteries yet, although it's been saying that they're at %5 for more than a week now and I got spares ready, but it just won't stop.
Headset looks like a corsair.
You seem to be correct, good sir. For some reason I thought they were wireless. I'm searching for a nice set of wireless ones, so I can walk around the room with them, but now I see on OP's picture that the cable is going into the headphones, not into the stand.
I have the same speakers bro!
Very nicely done! I myself ordered a custom desk pretty similar to yours and made those inner covers you show in the last picture a little longer so I can do all the cable management underneath the desk, so there is no cable showing at all, except the extension cord's cable going to the wall outlet, and a little of the mouse and keyboard on top of the desk, but the rest is all tucked away beneath the table. However it works for me because I choose to put the PC on the end of my desk. As you put it near it, so it won't a apply to you, but great gaming setup nonetheless. I love it! Good job!
No battestation is complete without tacky LED lighting.
This is how the GALANT should have been designed. The curve is too wide imo
Why on earth people keep making desks and place the monitors on the corner?! My OCD is fucking killing me! Y U DO DIS? :P lol Just place the monitors in front of you, in the middle of the desk or if you want to rest you mouse hand, near the corner but not in a way that you have to sit on angle with the main desk. How can you play like that? That's so old fashion btw, because we did this setup back in the 90's when there was no flat monitors and CRT ones where huge and would take too much space. Now, with those ultra thin monitors there is no need to place them to the corner.
Dude, lots of people still place them in the corners, it's actually quite preferred. The reason some people don't is because they don't have the room to have an L shaped desk, because if they did, they would. It's both about desk space saving, as well as comfort, because when you're in a corner you have arm rests on either side conforming to the curve.
