Why do you keep a razor in your pen mug? I mean, do you spontaneously shave sometimes? Just like

I keep one in there in case I need to pack for a trip and I'm out of razors where I normally keep them. That's the mug that I keep travel stuff in. Cheap pens, stuff like that.

Really, how is that Surface Pro 2 working out for you? What are you using it for in the scheme of things?

I use mine for everything I don't use my desktop for, even some light gaming. They are really great, it's extremely powerful for a tablet.

Decent for the hardware, could be better. If you are buying it as a tablet, it could be better. As a laptop it's pretty good. I get about 7.5 hours, I think it's officially 8.5. Definitely better than the first gen.

For a tablet as powerful as that? That's amazing

Mines maxed out specs too, but that batery life is light use. If I'm gaming on it or something it only last a few hours.

I use mine for when I don't want to cart around the Macbook Pro. I just throw it in my smaller bag for when I'm going to be walking around town all day. It's a tablet that can play Skyrim, which makes it awesome for trips, too.

Pictures might turn out better if you turn the flash off and use natural light, things look less glossy that way.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't have much natural light when I took some of them, and the rest the light was terrible in the morning. I was shooting with a Canon T3i, and need practice. Lots of practice.

If you shot those with a T3i, then I can give you a lot more tips!

How is the white top on the Galant desk? I'm trying to decide between white and brown/black.

Mine's brown, but I can see how a white one can work with a different environment. I just happened to have another redwood desk on the right hand side.

My walls are a bit darker, so I figured white would help the room from becoming too cave-y.

Hmm...haven't thought of that. The high contrast does help lighten up the atmosphere, but almost too much I'd imagine. If I remember correctly, they also have 2 other colors. I would choose beige if I have dark walls, since it provides the contrast but is still softer on the eyes.

Err, both. It does prevent the room from being too cave like, but it does tend to emphasize stuff on the desk, like you said. Also, I have a lot of stuff. I'm trying to work on removing some of it, but I haven't found a shelf that fits my needs (and I don't have room in the garage for woodworking tools while also rebuilding my car).

I would've preferred the black, but they were out of stock. It has grown on me, however.

The N900 isn't a windows phone. It's an older, *Nix based device running PwnPhone Community Edition (at least in this case). It originally ran, err, Maemo. It's got a stylus, too! ;) I rarely do pen testing, but that little device is excellent for it.
