Is that a......... 690 ;D................. <3
Diggin' dat Nexus 4. Wish more people gave it a chance. So good.
What? Everyone fucking loves the Nexus 4.
Switched to Android after owning every iPhone up to the 4S. Got a Galaxy Nexus and then sold it on for a Nexus 4 when it finally came back into stock, best phone I've ever owned.
How did you get the Apple monitor to connect to your desktop, and would you recommend it over a regular LCD monitor?
That's the older 27 Inch Display that uses MiniDisplay Port (the same tech is used in the Thunderbolt model, its just a rebrand...I think), before when I had a GTX 580 I had to buy a converter to convert DVI to Mini Out but the GTX 690 I use now has a straight Mini DisplayPort out! Fantastic display, one of the first to use 2560 x 1440 when it came out and has a built in 3-port USB hub, webcam and mic as well as a charger for use with a MacBook.
You just plug it in...
But doesn't it use the thunderbolt input plug?
Wrong way, had to use a converter before, it needs to output and let a cable connect into the converter from the display.
Wrong way? What do you mean?
I don't know what the first part of your sentence meant. In fact I'm having trouble parsing the syntax of everything you just said.
The Cinema Displays have a fixed input cable attached, there's no input on the monitor in terms of ports. So you get into a situation where if your graphics card doesn't have a Mini Displayport that you have to buy a converter like the one linked that lets you output from the card in DVI or HDMI, into the converter where the cable from the monitor connects on the other end in a Mini Displayport. You can't use the converter you linked because it converts the HDMI to the wrong end of Mini Displayport, you need an actual port not the cable end. :)
Always wondered what you guys used to hold up your laptops as such. Do you remember what it is called?
There's a few options out there:
I'm using the Elevator but looking at getting a Hi-Rise
What case is that, and also what is that desktop background?
Thats the 600t and that looks to be a low triangle mountain.
Aye you are right I am drunlk
I linked it to another requester above
Is that a GTX 690?
Is indeed, the Gigabyte model (not that it makes much difference considering they're all following reference).
