Gaming Setup - Computer Setup

I never realized until now how badly I want a keyboard with pink keys.
It's not just a keyboard
Nice job. I'm still more partial to my Leopold Otaku over the Filco though. Something about the front facing letters...have you been able to compare the two?
In the UK there are very few shops that hold Mech Keyboards so I don't get the chance to test others out unless I buy them.
Ah, yea no Filco dealers in the US that I know of. I had to go based off reviews. Just didn't seem to be enough to make me want to spend the extra money on the Filco.
What's the tablet mount you have in the 19th picture there?
Nice gaming setup there! What switches are yout Filco and does the mic pick up the sound of your typing?
Most mics will pick up a mechanical keyboard. Including the snowball. I'm using Brown switches, and like them a lot, but I do tend to bottom them out a lot. Looking for a KBT now but dunno which to go for.
Well that sucks, I have a MX Blue Majestouch 2 and I was actually looking into getting an AT2020 :( Thanks! :) You can look around r/mechanicalkeyboards to help you!
What do you mean by 'KBT'? The keyboard by Vortex?
What is the silver box? It looks like you're plugging your XLR mic into it? Oh, and nice Filco, what switches does it have?
The silver box is an amp for my headphones. My mic is USB.
How did you take the switch from at numpad keyboard to a tenkeyless keyboard? I have been thinking of switching for a while and I wanted to ask.
When I type a mobile number or online banking number I reach for it, but I don't miss it.
What do you typically do that you use the snowball for? Nice setup!
To be honest, just playing games with my mates over skype, TS or mumble
In picture 19, where'd you get that stand your Ipad is on?
NICE HEADPHONES! Such quality, I have the same ones.
For some reason, this is the first PC keyboard I see without the number pad... Cool
That looks like a piece of Schiit ;)
Gimme a month and maybe some HE400s?
Are you not using a dac?
I'm not sure as to when I'd need one or how much of a difference it would make. At the moment, when no music is on or sound, my headphones do whine a bit. But if all a DAC does is get rid of that whine then is the modi worth another £100? Also, how do I wire them together?
The whine is caused by the EMI inside your computer case. Happened to mine to, with my dt770 and magni. Got a new sound card with an EMI shield, and the whining noise went away. Getting a Modi would do the same. It's up to you to decide if it is worth it or not. To me, it definitely was.
It goes USB to modi to magni to headphones. Also if it sounds good to you I wouldn't upgrade. As mentioned by another reply a sound card could work too, but a good sound card would be the same price as the modi if not more. Plus the modi would match.
You've had 3 computers since 2011?
No. Just been upgrading since then.
What are your specs today?
