That paper is actually an abrasive. It's for nib smoothing. not writing.

I followed that video and it worked well. I think the figure 8's give you the path of every angle that you write with the pen. I'd recommend just following that video!

I agree, I have alot of vintage stuff; most of it is not pictured here. The table lamp and desk pen were acquired from an estate sale. The lamp glows warm and yellow, almost nostalgic.

Well, now I am! I'm starting a collection of vintage fountain pens, so far I have a Parker 51 vacumatic that I got last year, 2 Sheaffer Triumphs, that Sheaffer desk pen, and soon to be Esterbrook J & Parker Duofold.

How does a gtx 660 handle 1440p

I was expecting god awful performance, but actually it's completely fine for the games I currently play. It's definitely the weakest link in my rig though. I'm definitely going to upgrade when BF4 and GTA 5 come out. Here is a short list of the performance I get in games.

I'm not sure how the 660 handles 1440p, but I just built a new rig with a 760 and play BF3 on high settings no sweat. With the GPU boost 2.0 I believe I maintain close to 60 fps (which is what I set the target to) and set the max temp to 80 degrees.

Yes, it's a Lamy Safari fountain pen. It's a cheap pen so I won't beat myself up if I break the nib or lose it in school.
