Gaming Setup - Computer Setup

Mind making a how to on the basic monitor frame? i would love you forever(no homo) and it would help as i shall have no desk for my pc soon :(
Can you not "no homo"?
I would, but it's not easy to get the parts, which is why I'm trying to sell kits to make setups like this. This is just one design, if this frame looks good to people here I can put a pledge level up on my Kickstarter campaign tomorrow to let you order them.
Please do I need a mount like this for my headset but I like the setup.
So this is just a mock up, right? i would have a hard time believing that desktop could power 3 monitors.
I want to know if the computer holder can hold a full tower because most of us would want to fit a full tower with some weight onto it
Strength-wise, yes definitely. And it wouldn't be hard at all to make the frame that holds the pc slightly longer or wider.
May not be the prettiest, but the functionality/creativity is spot on!
How do the monitors mount? Stand VESA adapters? I've got that same desk so my interest is definitely piqued.
Good point, I should put pics of that. Actually just standard surface mounts that are part of our system. All I had to do was rig the poles so the the mount holes are the proper distance apart (4 inches for VESA 4 standard) and use the right washers and M4 screws. It can fit monitors up to 26 inches.
Yes, I'm in the same boat, I have the desk, and I am about to buy some more monitors and this looks amazing. I don't think that it is VESA, one of the pictures looks to be a clamp of some sort.
Cool, I'd love to - we have built about six different kits but are trying to figure out which to bring to market first. The Multikit is actually a different kit but made from the same basic parts.
My Kickstarter link will have it up tomorrow, the campaign ends in two weeks. Feel free to message me your email, and I'll let you know how to order one if the Kickstarter campaign doesn't go through.
So you basically made a frame out of fastube.
Well, then they'll need to set up an account, send project specs, request a quote, order a minimum quantity of parts, and build their own shelves.
Hey, nice gaming setup, I just passing through wondering if you could give me a link to the monitor stand frame thing. Thanks. :)
It's an original creation made by OP, a modular mounting system you can configure your own way. Here is his kickstarter:
Thanks! I'm trying to start a small business selling kits to make setups like this. In the post up top I link to my kickstarter campaign that has different kits, but I can put up a new "pledge level" tomorrow so you can order it.
Would there be any way to slide monitors closer together so the bezels touch?
For most sizes they should be able to (my cords don't reach quite far enough to put them together). It would be easy to make a shorter section in the middle for smaller monitors though.
PC Specs? Out of curiosity. Nice set up!
Yep. I could recognize the look of an older Inspiron/Optiplex
Thanks! My PC is kind of boring though. It's a 4 year old Dell Inspiron, I think it's 2 Gb ram, 3Ghz processor, 500Gb hd. I don't do that much gaming but I use it for Adobe Creative Suite with my little Bamboo tablet, and I do vinyl cutting for my old business and a little 3D designing/printing for fun.
Is that a Dell? Lol
