Side Monitors - Computer Setup

Comments

I love seeing gaming setup a with a triple screen setup in vertical mode. Having them horizontally is so cliche. Does it bother you at all having them set up the way you do, what benefits are there do you think? :)
I was not a huge fan of landscape eyefinity. I found that I physically had to turn my head around to see the edges. "but then sit further away so the screens cover exactly your peripheral vision!" they said. Yes, that is true, but that means that there is a whole lot of space above and under the screens, that is not covered by my vision. This way, I have a huge display with excellent resolution covering most of my vision. It is true, the extreme sides are not covered, but does one really use those? (and if I really want to, I am kinda saving up for 5x1 eyefinity)
Those speakers are neat, They look like miniature Bowers & Wilkins pregnant penguins.
Is that Ubuntu GNU+Linux running on the bed laptop?
Indeed it is! I really need to get a better camera though. iPhones does little justice to picture quality. EDIT: its Ubuntu 13.04 running on a 5.2 Macbook Air
Are those speakers covered in textured drywall?
Haha, yep, they are !
All Ikea strips too? :')
They are some of the finest things ever crafted.
Could you link the blue bubble wallpaper? Also, pretty nice setup you got there!
I demand to know what kind of speakers those are.
The middle one is a LG 24EB23TM, and the side monitors are both ACER V243PWLYMD. All three are 1920x1200 24" screens. All three are Debezeled. The two acers were easy and nice to work with, has nice metal, supports displayport and does not have the VESA mount built into the shell, but the metal part of the screen. The LG, however, was a pain in the ass. I had to make a custom bracket for the VESA mount here is the worklog for that mmount.
