Yep, I used non-adhesive magnetic strips cut to size and just slapped over the ugly handle holes
It looks really freaking nice like that. Good idea, i think i'm going to pick one up now
I bought a 10' roll of 1/2" width, .0625" thick
I'd go for a different case. If you're just going to remove the handles, you may as well start with a Lian-Li or a Cubitek Mini.
Does that panda have a pistol?
Actually, that panda has TWO pistols ;)
I hope this is a Homestarrunner reference
The lased etched front panel is very cool. Did you cut out the actual case and then put the mesh filter behind the whole panel? And just out of curiousity, where would one go to get such a job done?
The prodigy front panel is a two-piece design; the "softouch" front and a plastic backing that screws on. With the front panel lasered, all I had to do was dremel a rough shape out of the plastic back. Since I wanted some sort of dust barrier, I then bought a 12" speaker grill off ebay and cut it so it fit inside of the plastic backing frame. So the plastic frame only serves as a mounting point (I just used Scotch 4510 tape) for the speaker grill. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to stores so I'll PM you where I had it done
Wow fantastic work, it certainly turned out great :)
Could you pm me as well for whom ever did this work? Also great looking PC man!
Clean and effective... I like it! Nice cans too.
Thank you sir, if only the rest of the room was like that.. shh! And I do like them a lot but I do miss a bit of oomph on the low end, I'm thinking an amp in the future might fix that
Why did you put the CPU cooler sideways?
Are you getting better temperature with it sideways than with the cooler streamlined with the rear fan?
Just a temporary fix before I do a custom loop, and with the hyper 212 and the asrock z77 mitx, that is the only orientation that will fit without obstructing the PCIe slot. I know its hardly ideal, but it works for now.
This setup is really nice. Great job man!
That's a cool headset stand I should see what it is.
banana hanger
I'm no audiophile but they definitely do a great job. They are open-backed so the soundstage is huge but there isn't much punch on the low end. Definitely represents it, but doesn't blow your ears off
Cant...stop...staring! You did a great job with the pandamonium prodigy. It looks fantastic
One of the nicest I've seen so far.
Did you cut the window out yourself?
Yes indeed, didn't have access to a jigsaw so I used a dremel and file for all of it
You might want to stick to the red only at night as blue light is the worst of the spectrum for inhibiting melatonin (what helps you sleep).
I have a hoodie with that panda on, do you know what art work it is, people ask me if it's Banksy but I have no idea.
I too am currently rocking the Spotify Monitor.
Where did you find a ds3 tkl browns with white LEDs??? I want one so bad but they're sold out everywhere!
My cousin is from Taiwan so he brought me back one ;)
Mine are Superbrite but I'm pretty sure its the same exact thing. Mine actually aren't the waterproof ones but I might end up switching to those since these seem rather flimsy. For the strip inside my case, I actually chopped up an old 12v power adapter just to have a barrel plug with a long cable attached, and then I soldered that to a spare molex connector I had and then plugged that into my PSU.
The case made me cringe :\
Different strokes for different folks I guess, thanks for looking
