Yeah. No reason to go higher than 24" without going for better resolution than 1920x1200.
I see your point, but I've used my 27"ers for too long (3 years)... Anything smaller seems ridiculous now. And for the price you can get them at (two Samsung P2770 models for $200 each), it's kind of a no-brainer compared to similar spec'd 24"ers. Of course, that's from a common perspective. As you pointed out, if you really want a 120hz set, best bet is a smaller size.
I have to know; where did you purchase those Samsung 27" for $200?
Sams Club almost 3 years ago
It sounds manly enough, but what would work the GPU(s) harder -- three 120hz 1080p or three 1440p 60hz?
I'm guessing the 120 for gaming as to get the most out of them you would have to get your games up to 120 FPS. But I actually prefer 1440 at 60hz as I think it looks way better with higher pixel density and it makes console users cry when they see it.
Imperial scum. How could you go so far as to destroy Alderaan? They were a peaceful planet. This is on top of enslaving countless species, unleashing the horror of the Krytos virus on Coruscant, and generally discriminating against the non-human population.
Upvote for orderly conduct. As you were citizen.
Would love to get some specs on the hardware OP.
That boba fett helmet is it a full helmet or just a mask?
DAMN THE MAN! SAVE THE EMPIRE! Great computer setup by the way. I especially like your little dog skull thing.
My neck hurts just looking at this picture.
Used to have my monitors kind of like that, it's brutal.
Is that an original G15?
It sure is, I've got one too and refuse to part with it, even though it now has a short in the usb and I have to wiggle it once in a while...
I have (or had) one around here someone, loved using it. Not a big fan of the newer ones for the simple reason that the screen doesn't move like it did on the original.
