Pc specs? the cpu cooler looks insane

Yeah, one of the big problems I also had was to find a decent looking mousepad that didn't cost an outrageous amount. Although you could try to buy if from theirs store, but that would be around $57 depending on tax.

Damn, how high are you overclocking with that cpu cooler?

I'm not really overclocking to be honest. But because the cooler is huge I can run the fans at a lower rpm (+-400) when I'm not gaming so I have an almost silent pc. My pioneer sound control box (?) makes more sound than my pc...

It isn't the coolest stasion around, that's for sure. The cpu ad gpu are when browsing at about 35c and when gaming the cpu is about 60c and the gpu at full fan speed is around 80. The idle temps may be a bit high for some people, but I prefer a quiet system over a cool system.

Legitimate question but isn't the GPU cooler the noisiest part of the setup? I had the same CPU as yours but with a Define R2, Noctua D14 cooler and Asus 7850. While gaming, I could barely hear the D14 (which had 2 fans) at max compared to the graphics card cooler which sounded like a mini vacuum cleaner

Well, during gaming it isn't silent, that's for sure. But the sound of the gpu fans is a softer hum than those of the other fans, so it's less anoying. Also turning down the fan speed a little helps to keep it quiet.

That's a good-looking desk. Did you build it yourself?

Sort of. It started with an IKEA desk (duh), but overtime I changed quite a bit. For example I changed the top with a bigger one. Replaced the drawers in one with planks and put a door in front, and took the back part out for better airflow. But because it still was IKEA quality it started to fell apart. So at this point I contacted my local carpenter to build an improved version of what I had created from this IKEA desk.

Do you recommend that cooler and what is it?

U2412M owner here - yes, that is it (based on the length relative to the keyboard, it can't be 27 inch; the height indicates 16:10 so not the 23 inch)

Sorry but you're wrong ;p it's a u2713h, I just have a big keyboard. And for comparison, the mousepad is 90cm long.

Ahh my bad then, I have a Das Keyboard which I thought would be roughly the same size (it's massive). Dat camera angle though.

How does your 560ti run games on that resolution.

It's decent, I get 60 fps at medium to high settings in most games.

Turn your hard drives around to hide all those wires. Just a reccomendation. I have the Fractal Define XL. They make awesome cases. Very nice!!
