The chair is probably about 4 years old, and was from IKEA; and yes, I find it pretty comfortable
Replying here for later use.
I like that monitor set up, the two smaller lcd's seem to fit nicely there.
Love it! Where'd you get the desk?
Thanks! it was actually a friend of mines, so I guess i should say new-to-me. I helped him build his new desk, so I was able to take the old one off his hands, and in great shape too.
Can confirm, Magellan Office Depot
I have that same desk now, I still very much enjoy it, however I took the hutch off recently, and brought my tower up on the desk instead of being on the ground. It's a good desk that has lasted years and through a few moves. Cable management is non existent with this desk though. I actually cut a circle hole in the top of the desk (Under your center monitor) and also one on the back panel, so it could turn and go straight out the back. Then I mounted a power strip on the 90 degree leg on the back side... also some PVC mounting bracks screwed in various places create a nice wire path.
I have more steam friends than you. Probably more on Facebook too. Don't ask me about RL, I don't play that.
That's one I haven't had. I must try it out now. Where can I find it?
Mirror Pond or Red Chair?
I had that same desk for a good while. Though the wood started peeling and pissed me off so I got a different desk. Your's looks more functional with the smaller LCDs. Was kind of cramped with 3 24"
Yeah, i can imagine you would need more space.
I have that same desk! And boy, do I hate it.
Looks too damn small to me.
Personally, I find it looks a little too cramped. At the same time, it's incentive to keep it neat 'n tidy. Regardless, I do love the style of the desk & hutch; nice color. :)
Sorry to be that guy, but clean your camera lens! Either that, or maybe your finger got in front of the flash a bit.
