Perhaps a mounting arm for a desktop microphone? My Blue Snowball always seems to get in the way on my tiny desk.
Hmm, ok, thanks! A swivel arm would be easy.
Have a space for paper work, my desk is so full 0of monitors and gear if I ever have to do something written I am screwed.
I would bu y this, its so hard finding a good table for gaming these days
I thought that was the whole point of Ikea these days?
Forgot to mention, not costing upwards of $400
My Galant cost me about $200 it's so worth it.
Yeah, it's a great desk.
Well, I may as well pitch in.
Make what this guy says be true. As already said, try and add a laptop cooling stand. I swear on my small nose, that if this thing IS made, you will get several orders from my family.
Your desktop computer shelf is tiny, I would probably get this but I have a full ATX tower and that shelf looks pretty damn small.
This was just a rough design - do you have any suggestions for a size?
If you could make it adjustable and snug with the bottom of the desk that would be great.
Alright, I'll look into those, I don't think they're expensive. We also were thinking of running cords through the poles that the system is made from, to keep them invisible/organized.
Good point, but also think of these trim pieces for keyboards/mice to keep the amount of wire actually on the desktop to a minimum.
Wouldn't that be way to big? Most metal pipes used for desks is on .5" maybe a couple of pieces could be that size
As an ad on piece you could have laptop stand and have a nice whole cut under the wood to channel the cables
I love a BIG keyboard tray, that could be an add on.
Maybe make the desk a bit thicker and add cable channeling for the mice, keyboard and headset
Id want to be able to mount some good size speakers above the left and right monitor
Yeah if someone made an online customizable and orderable desk stations specifically for gaming with multiple monitor mounts and cable management accommodations I'd totally buy it
I'm completely satisfied with those really large L-shaped Ikea desks. If I can fit a Tower, 3 screens and have some space left it's all I need. I don't want to go overkill.
