How's that 290x treating ya? Does it really run as hot as the reviews say? I mean, my GTX 670 tops maybe 50C maxed out, but 95C? Whew

Only 50? Do you overclock the card at all? You might be able to push that.

Yep, it's running very hot but it's exhausting out the back so my case and other components are nice and chilly.

This build has been ~3 years in the making. After constantly running into setbacks that stopped me from putting a build together, I was finally able to get my dream build.

If you get that window I feel it looks best under yellow lights. Soft enough not to really feel forced but bright enough to show all the detail.

That mousepad looks awesome. How do you like it?

I love it, it's a bit too big for the desk I'm using now (As you can see in the pic, it's not aligned to the center because of the case) but it's still much better than a regular small mouse pad.

Great looking build. I'm very interested in the 290x, and you seem to be one of the first people to get one. Any chance you could find out how fast it can mine scrypt currencies such as litecoin? It will easily be the fastest single card available now and I just want to know how much faster.

I really like that case. I wish I could justify replacing the one I have.

FYI you can remove that second hard drive bay to improve airflow, since you don't use it!

How are you enjoying the 95 degree operating temp of the 290x? Keeping your room heated nicely?
