The FT03 Mini is far and away my favorite case out there, really wish it would fit larger than a 760 or a 670 though.

It's adorable, silent, and surprisingly heat-efficient. People have done mods to it to fit larger cards, but 10" is all the space you get stock. Honestly, the bigger problem is that you can only get a 450W PSU, and the card really needs to be a blower-style cooler instead of ACX.

Yeah that's the whole reason I have a Prodigy instead of an FT03 Mini myself! Otherwise I couldn;t use my Twin Frozr 770

Do you have any pictures of the inside? I myself just built an FT03 as well, but without the HDD and Optical Drive bay, and I would love to see one with a Hard Drive.

Haha, I actually took the bays out and attached my HDD to the case with 3M double-sided tape. Those drive bays are massive and limit so much airflow, plus the closed-loop cooler I'm using has tubes that get in the way. I can take some pictures though if you want to see my heinous cabling and hard drive "mount".

Please get new speakers and move that computer like half an inch away from the edge, i would constantly worry it would fall

Yeah, the speakers were acquired for the great low price of free.99 so I'm okay with that. Also I typically use my headphones, the speakers are only for when I'm netflixing in my bed.

Can't you stream the audio to your phone and ditch the speakers?

How/why would I stream audio to my phone? My headphones can reach to my bed if I need it, but sometimes I'd rather not wear them. The laptop doesn't get hot unless it's actually on, so I don't necessarily know how it would be detrimental to the computer, although I appreciate the concern!

All batteries get hot while charging, even magical apples. If there's a problem with the power source and the battery receives too much voltage it can overheat - if it's on a table that's no problem since it has ventilation, but in a bag it's going to mess up badly. You can cause some pretty nasty thermal runaway. Even magical apples can have battery or psu failure.

Although I appreciate your insinuation that my laptop has magical powers, I assure you it consistently underwhelms me. Would it make you happier to hear I'm building a VESA bracket to hold it so its off the desk for use as a 3rd screen?

Not particularly since the thing I was unhappy about was you charging a li-ion battery in an environment that inhibits heat dispersal because it's a fire hazard...

Those speakers are awesome! I used the same ones for 8 years and still have them kicking around.

Yeah, I found them rummaging in my basement after my parents moved and was pleasantly surprised by the sound. No low end, but that's to be expected and not a problem.
