What make/model of LED desk lamp is that?
Koncept Z Bar (my model is now an older model). I HIGHLY recommend it. It is expensive, but one of the best purchases I have ever made. Definitely worth it.

I think the new generation one that replaced my model is around $300, but I think you can fine the old one (generation 2, which I have) on Amazon for $120, which is an absolute steal.
Does the gen 2 have any significant differences from the gen 3?
They completely changed the LEDs. Mine (gen2) has 6 LEDs, the gen3 has a strip of many more (I'm guessing lesser powered) LEDs, plus I think they changed the buttons.

Personally, I spent the better part of 2 or 3 years finding a really decent desk lamp. The LED light not only illuminates my workspace perfectly, it's also very easy to manipulate to get the light where you need it. My sweetie bought this for me for Christmas and I've been loving it ever since.

Ikea, just a top and 4 legs, plus a wire rack for underneath. It's a steal for right around $100.

Yes, I actually bought one from Monoprice initially, then a couple days later from Amazon (free 2-day shipping and no tax). The Monoprice one cost me $32 after tax and shipping (standard ground 5 day), compared to $36 for the Amazon one (no tax, 2-day shipping), so not a big difference.

Lol, I was hesitant posting it here because of that. I'm not much of a gamer. I just play my Xbox occasionally.
You'd be surprised actually! If you install Windows with Bootcamp, you can battle like a champ. Macs have pretty good video cards! And I don't even have the newest one, I have a mid-2011 model with an AMD Radeon 6770 I think...! And 4GB of RAM. Runs newer games just fine on medium settings. I even could run Crysis 3 on medium.
