Not sure about all the downvotes, but this setup is quite nice looking.
Thanks, its meant to be a do it all gaming setup whilst still keeping a neat and modern 'un enthusiast' look to it.
Love the Gundam model and of course the rest of you set up is dope!
Thanks dude. Right as you typed this, I finished my Freedom Gundam! :) I'll send you a link after I finished compiling the pics.
That kit is so nice, some friendly advice is to invest in some better side-cutters and an X-Acto knife though, will help make nub removal a lot easier!
Thanks :) It is really nice. Only problem is that the arm parts are fragile when modeling the Gundam.
Yeah, Real Grades tend to be a bit fragile because of the complexity and size :(
But they are more difficult to build and more proportionate/better looking/correct than MasterGrades which are meant for modeling.
Dat mobile setup. I was thinking about doing this to my ipod mini. How's the audio quality?
Very warm (not too good, when its overly warm). A bit more transparent than normal, but it was a joke pic. The negatives outweigh the pro's. I strapped two opposite amps together to create an amp-zilla for fun. Distortion and noise are everywhere in the mobile-zilla setup. I usually just strap an E12 to my iPod if I need the power on the go for my headphones. Otherwise, I go without anything. I'll be getting the X3 soon so that will be good.
How did you get that mousepad so flat? Mine came so folded and its still that way after its been a month.
Ah, I completely forgot to hide the mouse logo and pad. Probably why the downvotes are raining down on this post of mine. But yeah. $40 for an $90 mouse and it also includes a bigger than normal mouse pad that actually works with the G9X? I'd be an idiot or hipster to not buy the set.
Ah I see. I guess I just have to wait a while longer haha.
I use the gaming grip. So yeah, still has the logo on it. I don't care really. It's hidden beneath my palm.
Nice setup, which AKG's are those hanging from the monitor? and how do you like them? I have a pair of Sennheiser 380 pro's but I'm finding them a bit tight for extended use.
I was hoping you guys would guess :) but I'll tell you through P.M
Ding Ding Ding Ding. Yes they are ;)
They are quite fine for many genres such as rock and classical. Other genres work quite well too but are not as enjoyable.
Ah, I rarely see another pair of Ultrasone other than my own. Nice setup.
Thanks :) I knew this coolcomputersetups had a few people that knew headphone audio so I added a few treat pics to see what people knew. So far, us geeks are quite similar in hobbies.
Whered you get that desk?
Odd request could you post a picture of the model and the type of legs you have? when did you buy it? I really like your model but I am having no luck finding that particular model online, i'd really appreciate
They are easily online. Ikea Galant T legs
Damn. Nice cans. Especially the AKG's.
Thanks :) Can ya name some of them though? ;)
What Ultrasones are those you have plugged into the desktop amp? I got my hands on some PRO 900's about 1 month ago and haven't looked back. I also thought about getting a separate desktop amp (EO9k) and using my EO7k as a portable one. What would you recommend?
For the montior? A generic one bought off Amazon for $20.
I meant how did you mount it to the wall? Did you buy some VESA mount?
Yes I did. The monitor supported VESA and the mount was VESA.
When I first saw the Mont Blanc box I thought fountain pens but apparently there are also Mont Blanc headphone amps...
;) Yep, they units are inside the boxes. Which reminds me to put them back on the back shelf where they belong.
Love the NZXT Lexa-S case, in my opinion its a great case that gets overlooked far too often because of the Phantom.
NZXT Nemesis Elite Gaming Chasis :)
Miio amps! Are they really worth it? Considering I'm getting some new cans soon and the audio chip in the Note II (Yamaha I think) isn't the strongest in the world.
I can see your stashbox actually, on the top left corner of your desk. Nobody uses CDs nowdays :-D
That would be the case normally. But please be reminded that we are in a tech enthusiast sub coolcomputersetups. Those disks contain operating systems, system drivers, and other purposes such as installing another OS. Installing a custom pre-app specified OS. Using a custom Linux installation for virus removal, or all the other nice things that CD's allow us to do.
