Gaming Setup - Computer Setup

That TV with GTA on it looks beautiful. The bezels look awfully thin as well. Is it as clear as it looks?
I got it only two days ago and i am still very happy with the purchase. I picked Sony not because of the picture however, but more because of their low input-lag in their W900/800/600 series. This one has 6ms (old test-method) and 14.6ms with the Leo Bodnar lag tester. It's one of the fastest HDTV's out there right now.
Sounds like it works well for you! Cheers. As for the gaming setup, you shouldn't hide your beautiful case!
Anything below 40ms is good for gaming. I bought a new TV for a gaming room I'm working on, and I just like you, searched for the lowest input lag TV's, there were some SONY TV´s that had the best performance but the price tag... So I bought a 55" LED Samsung TV, series 6 I think, cheaper(still expensive :S), and with a very good performance regarding input lag. But those bezels on your are just classy.
Yes indeed they do cost a bit more. This one was ~500 USD off during a weekend sale which made me pull the trigger.
Then I must be talking about other TV Here, in Europe, they were like 2500€~3000USD. The Samsung was almost half.
The 900/800-series are definetly higher. This is a 600-series Sony and was listed at 1900USD but i got it at 1400USD.
The bezel on that tv is gorgeous!
Of course, it might have another model-name outside of Europe however, not many hits on google.
Oh god, the desk. What, where, how much?
I answered it above! ...or below depending on how you sort replies :)
What kind of desk(s)? Lovely setup!
It's basically two slabs of oak table-tops placed together. One table is 180x61cm (TV-one) and the other is 160x81cm (computer-one). Both are 2.6cm thick. The legs as you might see differ, the L-shaped ones are Ikea Moliden but have been discontinued, the other legs are just standard round steel-legs.
Not nearly as expensive as I would've thought. I wish I could find a retailer around here who sold separate table-tops--at any price! Anyway, thanks for responding. And again it all looks great, well done.
I looked up Ikea and they sell separate table-tops here (Sweden) but when i went to the US-site i could not find it :/
Freaking love that audio setup.
How do you like the A-100? I have been looking at it for a while to pair with a set of av123 x-cs speakers. Is there anyway to turn off that annoying blue light?
I have only had it for a couple of days, but it's definetly worth the price if you ask me. I previously used the XTZ A-800 which came with the speakers, that was a Class D 2x40W integrated amp with a low-q DAC. The step-up to the Modi & A-100 (which is Class AB) made a difference, maybe not at super low volume but mid-high it makes the speakers really breathe...more.
Your desk absolutely beautiful and so is everything on it.
Sheeet.. Now I have to go buy myself a TV. Yours looks absolutely stunning.
I'm curious, why do you have a splitter that strips HDCP?
