Second Monitor - Computer Setup

Comments

I always thought the lego pieces were made from lego plastic, huh.....
Where did you get the giant lego sticker?
That monitor stand is nice, what brand/model?
Yep! Specifically this model. It comes with the laptop holder, or you can use it as a second monitor mount. I bought the "stacking monitor" model because it gave me a bit more vertical flexibility--the non-stacking version desk mount pole is a bit of a nub.
Have you tried Synergy? Or is that a KVM you didn't like?
I haven't. I had mostly investigated hardware KVMs, but this might be interesting to experiment with!
Definitely worth a shot, would eliminate at least switching your keyboard over if you wanted to keep the trackpad in use.
+1 for Synergy DO give it a shot.
This is the cleanest Gaming setup I have ever seen. Amazing :3
Thanks! Desk clutter drives me nuts, and I like to have space to spread out if I have to reference multiple textbooks or notes.
What type of chair is that? Looks awesome!
Herman Miller Mirra. Studying tends to involve long hours of sitting in the same spot, so I invested in something nice for my butt.
This is not just nice, its also unique! Tripplemonitor setups are awesome, but I feel like they are getting a tad bit... old?
Thanks! 3 monitors is more than I need--I do any work (studying, gaming, or otherwise) on the main monitor, and use the MBA screen for "auxiliary" purposes: music, chat, gmail, etc.
Got excited, because I thought you were a fellow MD MBA, but then realized MBA stands for Mac Book Air... oh well, great setup!
The place at the top of my residency list has an extra year that I plan to use to get my MBA. Maybe someday!
Do you run long distance? Just wondering sense you have a lot of shoes and a frisbee
Brilliant deduction, Sherlock! I've run 2 marathons to date, and I'm about to start a training cycle for another. The shoes hanging from the ceiling got me across the finish line at Boston 2013.
