It took plenty of saving to get this setup lol and lots of time not having a pc of my own, so dont be.
Im currently doing some saving up myself. good job though, love the set up!
Covetousness. jealousy, in terms of objects, is protectiveness over what you already have.
:o I love your wall
What lights did you use in the background an what are you specs? I'm really digging the rig though :)
Thanks! The lights are the ikea dioder.
specs of the pc are
Gigabyte 970a-d3 mobo,
Hd 7850 GPU,
FX-8120 @4ghz,
16gb ram ddr3 1600.
Who does that 7850 handle those monitors? I'm planning in running 3 23" 1080p monitors with my 7870 but I don't think it can handle it. I probably won't game on all three only one but have the other two running twitch and something else.
I already did with no luck... Anyways cheers on the rig and have a nice night
Also try toms hardware also a nice site, thanks you too!
What kind of microphone is that? It looks really cool.
Samson meteor, I believe I bought it on amazon.
I have the same mic on my desk, solid choice there.
How well does that pick up our voice? Like do you have to talk any louder than if you had a mic on a head set? I am curious because I communicate a lot on Team Speak and Ventrillo and have always wanted to spend good money on nice headphones but didn't want to lose the capability of a mic.
Quite frankly, its too good. I use a mechanical keyboard, my typing gets other people in skype to angry yell at me. I can open my doors and stand in my kitchen on the other side of the apt and if I talk loudly, people still understand me. I might have to look into configuring it to be less sensitive.

Its very good, i used to have a headset then switched this mic. I mainly use it for skype and raidcall and it never picks up my tv in the background when its on or any background noise.
That is good to know, thanks. Back about 8 years ago I had a shitty Logitech desk mic and if you didn't lean in closer to it, it sounded like I was talking from the next room.
Neat, Love it when people on here get photography and lower the backlight on their monitors. Small things.
Haha yeah that's one of the things I dislike when someone posts their station, is the super brightness of their monitors.
You happy with the depth of it?
50cm can feel very shallow. I have two Ikea desks, 60 and 75cm deep respectively, and the 75 is the only one that i can put my forearms on and game comfortably with :)
Yea it is a beautiful desk.
I found a 65 cm one on ikeas website, $55 more than the one above and a bit bulkier.
I like it alot, haven't had any space issues. Mostly because i only use this for my computer and I have another desk for school and work.
Yah same here, i'll only be using it for the computer, many hours of work and play though. I guess i'll have to go and check it out for myself instead of buying it online.
Yea i would recommend going to the ikea store i didn't even plan on buying this desk i was planning on buying the galant but really enjoyed this one.
I absolutely adore Purple/Pink LEDs on mechanical keyboards. The fact that it's a ducky just makes it better.
Do you have a link by any change I can't seem to find them:/?
Your wallpapers are begging for a third monitor.
These are really nice photos. Love the clean set up but seriously, nice photos.
If you don't mind me asking, what did you take these with?
Lent it to a friend.
Up vote for the headphones! Great choice. What ohm are they?
Could be wrong but I believe the DT990 Pro only comes in 250ohm.
I believe you're right, not sure tho.
What kind of set up are you using to amp those?
Its the aune t1, its an amp/dac combo.
You have great taste in headphones. Of all the cans I've ever owned, those Beyerdynamics have been the best. Do you use a headphone amp? How do you power them?
Im powering it with the aune T1 amp/dac.
Pure sex. That's what they are.
What did you do with that floating dock on the monitor? Looks really nice and clean.
I like it a lot. How is the blue lights on your eyes after a few hours?
Don't even know they are there.
When you are playing a video game, how is the reticule displayed across your two monitors (that is, if you play video games, and those games have reticules)?
I only play games on one monitor cant stand have a bezel in between.
That's probably what I would do. I simply can't imagine having a bezel right in the middle of my face while gaming. Internet browsing and researching/writing papers would be fine, but not gaming.
Yes exactly, i might be able to stand it if i had another monitor but not for 2.
Nice looking build! My friend is in the market for a new monitor, what model are these?
Thanks man, its the dell e2311h.
No problem, and thanks for the quick reply but that's a bit out of his price range. He's been looking for any good monitors under $200. I'm also curious what your (eventual) planned upgrade path is after this. The graphics card seems like the weakest link in the system.
Is that a kova? How are you liking it?
It's a very nice mouse, have owned it for about a year no problems yet.
What dock program are you using for your desktop icons?
That is one nice clean desk. Mine is covered with stacks of papers and piles of pictures at the moment. Do you keep it always this clean or was it just for the internet?
