Your Monitor - Computer Setup

What ear pads do you have on your m50's? Do they sound any different with those ear pads vs the stock ones?
It's just a standard sock mod, you take wool socks and wrap them around the pads. Sound isn't different, they're just a little more comfortable.
Dude show your bed, that looks tall as fuck.
Standard lofted bed, it's basically just the top bunk of a bunk bed.
I don't think that's the right picture...
Can you send me the link to the LED light kit. That is pretty sweet.
Do you have a link to the stand please?
Why? It's just a case.
It was a pain to work in, took me 12 re-works and fiddling sessions to get the cables in presentable fashion
I've never really cared about the inside of my case, I just like that it has a handle.
My favorite part is the 1mm of space behind the motherboard. The panel on that side literally bulges out for me and practically requires a rubber mallet to get on.
I have the same lights.. I put them on my desk but it chipped that paint..
I think I may steal your idea. As a college student with equally crappy space but a lot of stuff on my desk I have been pondering a solution and you just gave it to me. Now if only the Acer H236Hlbd had Vesa mounts I would be set. Fantastic monitor overall though.
You can buy monitor stands that let you stow things underneath, this for example. Not the same, but still helps to free up space if you need to use the desk.
That does seem like it could work. I may just try and get a desktop something at Ikea that is as deep as the desk and furniture my school provides cause I do have quite a bit of work space as far as that goes. I just like the clean look of taking your monitor off the desk.
This desk was $20 at IKEA, they're dirt cheap. As long as you can prop it up between some things that are sturdy it works very well. I use some heavy duty C-clamps to hold it down and make it sturdier.
How do you like the m50's? I'm looking at getting those or a competitors
I like them a lot. Good mix between the high and low range, and good noise isolation. My one big complaint is that the cord is very heavy and very long, which isn't a problem since they stay at my desk, but they are a pain in all other situations.
Do the low-lows get distorted at louder volumes? And how is the overall comfort on the head? I have glasses and my biggest gripe with my current pair is that they grip tightly squeezing them against my head causing an imprint and it hurts.
Fits my head well, and are comfortable for a long enough period of time. I wear glasses as well, no discomfort. Leather starts to hurt my ears after a while, though, which is why I added extra padding. I haven't noticed any distortion, although bass does dissipate at louder volumes.
You've done really well there, very tidy.
I can't believe nobody has asked you this yet, but where did you get that mousepad?
