Computer Setup

Comments

My first case which was an old and tiny OEM case I found on the attic fits into the CM elite 430 which you see in the pics. The Elite 430 fits in the colossus. Case-ception.
Of course the best course of action is to install another computer inside the OEM case and put it in the Colossus, then install a Raspberry Pi inside the OEM case.
Go have a look at a 950D
My case could fit in the 950D ಠ_ಠ
It's friggin huge.
I love how not only the light colours on your case and mouse match, but the pattern they light up in too.
What's the word that means ricer, but for computers? Because that's exactly what this case is.
Ricer computer or "tacti-cool" or "gamer edition"
You should get the colours to match the health of your ingame character.
Sadly the case only has 2 light modes :<
But I guess with a bit of programming I might get my keyboard/mouse to do that!
Yeah, give it a go! I have always wanted to try something like this, but I lack the ability and the cool hardware.
I can agree with that. Not the #1 in airflow. You made a good choice :)
I am becoming a big fan of Bit Fenix more and more with every computer setup I see.
I bought a Bitfenix Shinobi a few weeks ago, I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality for a $69USD case.
Awesome case, any reason you choose this one over the windowed one?
The window has a fan hole in the panel. I like my windows clear - or not at all. Discovered that with my old case :/
Yeah, I know the feeling. My CM Storm Scout 2 has a really small side window since there are 2 fan holes at the bottom of it.
I'm actually looking for some White LED fans, is your spectre any good?
My spectre is without LED but the spectrePRO (i think) have them. No complaints about bitfenix fans at all. Although they did buzz a bit when set on low RPM with a fan controller. But that's reasonable; It's a PWM fan so it doesn't scale well with hardware fan control. I got all my fans in my mobo anyways. Can't be bothered with manual controls. So yeah, when plugged in the board they're super silent. I got the 140mm fyi.
What keyboard and mouse are those
SO what's grouping all your icons together on your desktop? btw that case is badass, like the leds.
I would like to know the answer to this as well!
You should probably remove that second link.
Welcome to my world :D
Nice I have the same case, except in white with blue lights and a window on the side instead of lights all the way around. It's awesome.
May I ask what game you are playing?
Awww yiss! Maxed with 4xMSAA @ 60fps in any 64player map! :D
I remember my first full tower, it's a whole different ball game. room up top for push-pull, room at bottom to do crossfire. Hope you're happy with yours.
I went from a crippled CM stacker full tower to a CM 430 elite... I think I did exactly the opposite lol.
If you could get the case and mouse to light up a light blue colour, it would look pretty Damn identical to Isaac Clarke's suit in Dead Space.
So much room for activities!
I have the same headset, its a great headset
I love it! So much customizing in the logitech software. And their service is great. One of the earcups broke and logitech send me a brand new one even though it was kinda my fault!
Questions about parts are welcome! :D
Kinda dumb question but just making sure. That case is called the Colossus? I really like it so hopefully one will be around when I build my computer.
3570k - Asus DirectCUII HD7950 - Corsair vengeance 2133mhz - Asus P8z77 Plus board - Kingston 60gb ~500/500 read/write SSD - Some OEM 1TB hdd I found - Corsair CX500 psu (which needs replacement 650watt>)
Damn for that price, this is a really nice looking build. I threw all my money at the components, look like you balanced aesthetics and power.
Green is not, a creative color.
