3 Monitors - Computer Setup

Are your monitors really held up with cardboard boxes and duct tape? That would scare me....

Yeah but it's very stable. There's also black tape along the bezels that holds them together.

Nice. just finished my current setup (tri montirs ftw! 17 inch, 21 inch, 17 inch) and all ive gotta say: its a bitch to get different monitors properly sized...(and god damn it i have to fix my wires again..)

Sexy, when I build my next pc for an alt to my FPS rig I want to do a similar monitor setup. I can't do the surround or portrait for FPS games like CS, but for everything else it looks badass. :)

Him and I were in contact on.. either overclockers or Xtreme Systems. I have since disassembled the setup since I play a lot of FPS and Eyefinity has some input lag that I couldn't work around. It was awesome for web dev, though.

I had that keyboard for a while. If I were you i would really consider replacing it with something mechanical.

Is it common that the box on the back on the monitor is just fastened with a bit of duct tape, or is Asus just very cheap?

I think it's common. The plastic casing also helps keep it together so there isn't anything to worry about

I'm not op, but I have a similar setup, and I like portrait a lot more than landscape for eyefinity. It feels like the monitors full a lot more of your line of sight.

I really like triple portrait setups, i`ll probably rearrange my own setup to one as soon as i can afford my third U2412M....OCD requires three matching monitors

See you have a 770, seriously considering the monitor setup but I'm wondering does the 770 handle the huge res okay?

Yep, I play a lot of BF3 and on medium settings it's usually 60+ fps.

Debezeling was easy, but you wont have any vesa mounts if you debezel. If you want to use monitors in portait mode get an IPS panel, mine look weird if you look at them just a little bit from the side.

As someone who's always used a single monitor do you get used to to split bars with multiple monitors? It would drive me crazy.

I don't mind the bezels at all, but I have heard that some people find them annoying.
