Those Monitors - Computer Setup

Comments

Your screen is on top of the mouse pad... it's bothering me
I was about to say the same thing
I have the same chair as you :D
I used to have that chair..then my neighbors dog chewed it up.. and god damn it does everybody here have a better gaming setup then me? i feel left out as mine is a server gone pc...fucking 16MB integrated graphics card and why didnt intel put X16 slots on there server boards? WHY
Hey, replace that PSU though :P
AM i missing something? how do you know what PSU he has?
Yeah, I think one or two other people also mentioned replacing it :P
Is that a Mad Catz R.A.T.9 Gaming Mouse?
Yes it is. I like mine
Looks awesome! How do you like the gamepad?
It takes some getting used to, but I really love it. I had a Razer Nostromo before it, and this is so much better. The LCD screen is really nice. I run MSI Afterburner, so it lets me monitor my system without needing something on screen. It also has the joystick which allows for 4 inputs, which works out perfectly (the Nostromo allowed for 8, but because it was so touchy you would often hit multiple "buttons" if you tried using it). I also used it as the movement joystick in Stalker, and it worked out really well there too.
A bit of inception going on in the right monitor of the last photo :P
Just came here to make sure I wasn't the only one.
How's the Logitech mechanical keyboard?
I really like it! It feels good to type on.
How is the mouse? Is it the Rat7 or 9? I heard a lot of bad things about the mouse, but want to hear from someone that is currently using them.
Also, the customer support is terrible. So if you get one, try to get any problems you have with it fixed right away (as in, replacing it through whoever you bought it from).
I actually came on to see if he mentioned it as well. i hate to return my rat 7 because of optical issues. awesome looking mouse but had some really crappy laser that caused the mouse to jump everywhere.
It's funny you say that. I have a Rat 7, and absolutely love it, but if i turn up the subs under the desk it'll shake the mouse on the screen but not the actually mouse (so i guess its just shaking the laser)
Yeah, they fixed that (mostly) in the rat 9
I've never had a problem with my RAT7, though after a few years one of the side buttons feels a teeny bit mushy. I've ordered a few mice to replace it because they have cool features, like the Kone+, but they all ended up being pieces of junk and I always ended up back with the Cyborg.
Ahh the H236HL, please correct me if im wrong... Those monitors are a beaut I personally own one at the moment, and am investing into my 2nd
You are correct sir! The only thing I kind of don't like is the glossy screen is really glossy, and that when the room is too bright it's kind of a pain (but that is rare, and can be ignored).
Edit: Sorry, didn't see the other comments about this PSU. I still like the build.
Dude. I have the same chair, mouse, headset, trashcan, and case (before I upgraded)
I think we're pretty much required to be now.
Always wondered how those left-hand mouse things are... Did it change your life?
Why you hide parts list? =(
You're gonna hate that rat soon. I had one and half the time it would lock up and I couldn't use my mouse properly. I switched back to an office mouse and it preformed the most basic function of a mouse much better than a rat.
Very nice setup as we have like keyboards. The G710 is great. I, just yesterday, took off all the o-rings from the keys and it really shows a difference. Sound and feel wise. I just felt that the o-rings made a keypress feel... mushy. If you really want to bring out the CLACK in those Browns, I would say yank off those o-rings.
Do you recommend that logitech headset? I'm between that one and the razer carcharias.
I guess it all depends on what you want it for. I was hoping that the bass would be better in it (it is good, but not great. You'll get some "fuzz" in the sound every now and then). So for music-listening, it would be better to get a headset actually designed for music (but it probably won't have the 7.1 surround sound then - keep in mind that is digital surround sound and not actual). Apparently, if you have a lot of wireless-signal emitting devices (e.g. a router), it can interfere with it and cause the sound to cut out. This happens to me occasionally, but not too often. It might be something to keep in mind when purchasing one. Other than that, I really like it. I went from a Turtle Beach headset to this, and it was a good change.
Yeah if you're going for headphones definetely get a set from a respectable audio company like Beyerdynamic, Audio Technica, Shure, Denon, Sennheiser ect were you'll get much better value for money than buying from a company like razer or logitech. And if you want virtual surriound you can get it by using your headphones with a sound card like a Xonar DG.
Thanks man! I think I might go with a logitech g35 now, but I still don't know.
I bought a G35 used on ebay for $50.
If you live in an area with a lot of signal interference I would not recommend it. The headset will cut out quite often
I have a Logitech g14 and think its meh but I keep seeing similar keyboards on computer setups am I just picky or is it better than most? I'm not sure what I want next...
The G710+ is a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Browns, It's a completely different experience than a rubber dome keyboard.
Awesome gonna check it out
