I'm running Skyrim with about 25 mods and it's usually hovering around 1.5-1.8GB of VRAM useage; Skyrim runs with 2x MSAA
Thanks for the detailed response! I'm running 2x760 and have been thinking about upgrading to 1440p for a while now. Since the 670's and 760's are a pretty direct comparison I was curious to see how well that worked.
I'm actually thinking about selling 2 of the monitors and get the 4K 24" Dell monitor, if the performance hit is significant I might change to some 3-4GB VRAM GPU's.
Detailed in the album, 2x Qnix QH2710 & 1 Achieva Shimian
I'm heavily impressed with 2x670 holding up to 1440p well.
Take those boxes down and put something cool up there. Not to sound like a dick, but it looks trashy. Other than that, nice setup... and I like your dog
Why have the right monitor in portrait instead of landscape?
Fair enough, why not use it for a triple gaming display?
Feels too jerky, tried it a few times and it was unconfortable looking at the stretched textures on the monitors
That makes perfect sense, I guess all people are different
How do you like those 701s for gaming? I've been humming and hawing over a pair of Q701s for weeks now, and the price just dropped $20 the other day so now it's even harder for me to say no.
They're not good for prolonged use, as the "headbar" or however you may call it will put a strain on the top of your head after roughly 30-40 minutes of use; however I usually move the strap either forwards or backwards once it starts hurting, and repeat if I'm gaming for a whole night.
I noticed a Maker Studio's Sticker, are you a content creator?
Nope, I got the sticker from back when TotalBiscuit sold his Archmage: Reckoning t-shirts
How do you like it? I am thinking of maybe getting one
Stealthed version looked meh, I have a Ducky Shine 3 coming in anyways ^
I like the desk, it's nice and straight. It has screens on it.
Looks exactly like my dog. Nice gaming setup brochacho!
Why do you have sound absorption foam? What do you do?
IT Support 2½ year internship, currently living at home due to the crazy rental prices here, so I isolated my room so I don't disturb my parents in any way.
That sucks where from? I'm in NJ and looking at at least $900 for a 1 bedroom.
Greenland, $1200/month for a 1 room apartment
Common misconception. Those foam pads don't actually do much soundproofing. They're designed to mitigate reflections from walls to improve clarity and imaging of studio monitors. In other words, your parents can still hear you very well.
Nope, I set up my Blue Snowball to record from my gaming laptop while playing a movie/some music before and after I installed the sound isolation, it reduced quite a bit of noise.
Your mic is picking up less noise because the foam is doing exactly what it's designed to do -- reduce sound reflection, aka echos. As for your parents not waking up, they're probably just used to the noise now. The most effective way to soundproof in your case, other than rebuilding your walls, is lifting your subwoofer off the ground or simply turning it down.
Whatever floats your boat :)
Heh. Sorry you wasted your money. You asked for feedback. I'm giving you some. Whatever floats your boat :)
Very nice setup, with your rig if I could just make one suggestion for cable management. You should be able to run your CPU power lines underneath your video cards. If there's enough room I would do this. It would clean it up a bit.
I've tried routing the cables underneath my cards, but it could barely connect to the 4+4 pins, the CPU power connectors are very highly placed.
I love your username and your fans.
Looks great, I have the H100i with Noctuas as well.
Are you watching a video about club penguin?
Oh yeah what am I thinking? :p
Random question, how did you get the "Blue" logo off the snowball? Thatisasnowballright? I just got mine and I would like to take it off. .__.
Easy, tip it over so it falls down on the floor. :(
Some people dont like "nerd shelf's" But I definitely do!
How do you like the G602? I want a second mouse from my Deathadder, was looking mainly at that one because of being wireless but still long battery life. How does it feel in the hand and does it get slick when your hands sweat?
