I never use a whole tissue. 2 sheets of TP works.
The downside is everyone thinks you're masturbating at work behind a wall of monitors. Napkins are cheap, or free if you just take them when you eat out.

I was sure there was an obvious excuse for the TP from OP, but the longer this thread gets, and more bookmarks ticked without reply, the old Occam's Razor is sounding about right.

Dude I run glass cleaner over my desk like hourly because of fingerprints/dust, I don't know how you can live like that.

What is so nice about it?
Widescreen monitors can be great for gaming, watching movies, etc. That's more or less what they're designed for - consuming multimedia products. If you're doing that, of course you would want the image to fill your eyes' field of vision most efficiently, and our vision is naturally "widescreen".
I know most people use the portrait style setup for programming, but I have a counterpoint to that argument.
Agreed, SQL MGMT Studio, Eclipse work better in normal landscape view ... when I code using Sublime Text, there's no question that I enjoy portrait more ... unless of course I'm at home on my 1440p, then 3 columns is far superior.
Right, I forgot about MSSMS - basically anything with extra panes works great in landscape.

Well I use it for browsing the internet, but a lot of people use it for coding. The narrow field of view is good for reading.

I think for a 4th monitor it could fit well for me. But I really use my computer for mostly gaming and do my programming on my mac.

Yea ok that makes more sense. I got a macbook air for college and I am actually pretty happy with using it to program where ever I feel like.
I have two monitors at work and one is in portrait. Works great for email and editing documents
Way back when i attended college, in library computer labs i would rotate screens for programming, some other students noted its way better for their essays and ask to use it as i leave, otherwise i would rotate it back.
often would return to the physical monitor rotated back to landscape yet not the screen orientation. always found it entertaining their student workers would either not know how to fix it or say it must be broken (especially when id come through and just rotate the monitor, wow magic it works).
Sadly all my monitors have horrible vertical viewing angles so they look like crap in portrait unless you're looking directly at them :(.

To each his own. Some use TP, tissues or paper towels. I guess each have their place.
Yeah but it would be like fap ADD. You couldn't stay focused on just one, and it could potentially lead to sensory overload. In many ways.
I think I'd be okay with that.
I always have a roll of TP in my room. 50/50 for blowing my nose and fapping. No point in buying a $2 box of tissues when TP is just as soft (afterall, it is for your asshole). Only exception are the tissues with lotion.

But I too have a roll. It's great for blowing nose, cleaning crumbs, mopping up coffee. any pics I'd take of the screen I'd move that away, to stop these comments! but when I get a cold/allergies, nothing like mass quantities of bog roll close to hand.
But why not tissues? I feel like they get the job done much better.

Ahhhh, a fellow MSP guy, i'm jealous of the number of monitors you get at your office.
How are you liking connectwise? Our guys grumble about it a bunch. It doesn't integrate with nable as well is it did lab tech either.

A guy at a client of mine does something similar to this. He set up a webcam so he can see past them in a little window in case someone comes by.
Is that VMWare Horizon View? How is it? Does it make for easy desktop management?
