Actual Monitor - Computer Setup

That desk is beautiful. And your computer looks perfect on it. Next up, mechanical keyboard and 1440p monitor.

I actually wanted the black version but IKEA was sold out, kinda glad I got the white version now. I do want a new monitor but I'm worried about my 470 keeping up.

Hey! That's the Ikea MALM desk, how is it? I'm considering it.

Its great for the price! Hard to find anything similar for cheap. The black shelf wasn't part of it but you can add whatever you want, it worked well for a monitor stand.

How deep is it? I have an amp that's a little less than a mid tower, length wise and I was hoping to fit the amp horizontally instead of to the side like it is now and still have the tower+ a 24" monitor, and speakers. Do you think there will be room? It may be stretching it. If I remember correctly, you can remove the extra sliding leg, right?

I think there will be plenty of room, I have my sub under the desk and my printer on top and still plenty of leg room. You can remove the expendable part but I think your sub would fit perfectly under there. The 600T is a wide mid tower case, my monitor is only a 20" but there's plenty of room on each side as you can see in the pics.

I don't have a woofer :)

Hit up the IKEA store near you, if you have one. They'll have it on display.

Haha, I have the same IKEA 'kitchen-legs-with-plank' setup. Works great and is way cheaper than actual monitor stands.
