Dell Monitors - Computer Setup

Comments

That's cute. OP just said his gaming setup is complete.
No, I heard... 1/3rd of the way through his screen rig.
Came here to say this.
His wife put her foot down :-).
This always gives me a little chuckle
That keyboard definitely needs to be replaced.
I'm actually thinking to upgrade, so I was wrong of saying that it's complete
DasKeyboard. Highly recommend for someone looking to get a mechanical keyboard.
I've actually got 2 for sale....
What models and price? I'm looking for maybe $150 price range.
Okey, thanks for the tip
One does not simplify finish building a gaming setup
You're forgot the other two 30" Dells
Maybe they just weren't unboxed yet?
Oh, good point. Surely OP was just too eager to wait, and took the picture prematurely.
NOT WITH THAT KEYBOARD!
Got the QNIX QX2710 Evo II (PLS) yesterday. 2560x1440 overclocked to 120hz. $350. Best money ever spent and best upgrade yet.
Amazon my friend! Brand new out of the box. No dead pixels no backlight bleed or anything. It's crystal clear I still can't believe how nice it is in 1440
Yeah until it breaks and you're out $350 with no warranty.
Any reason this monitor will just "break" from normal use? I can't see how it would get damaged but I may be under thinking it.
Poor build quality, overclocking may cause issues, user accidents, questionable manufacturer quality control.
Valid points. The build quality, from what I can tell, seems to be sturdy and tight fitting. I do have it overclocked to 120hz so I may consider toning it down to around 90 or 100 to avoid any issues.
19:10 high res 30" display. Finally someone in here who knows what they are doing. This is a much nicer computer setup than the 3x 1920x1080 crap that everyone usually posts in here.
You mean 16:10? haha.
Yeah thats what I meant...19:10 would be interesting though
Most of us just dream about being able to afford a 30" display. 3x1080p is a third the price.
Considering you can get 6 or 7 decent 1080p screens for the price of the 30", it's pretty obvious why
Very nice I rock the 27 at work but I've been considering a 30 to round out the 2 24s at home.
Dell makes some fine displays. I recently picked up two 23" myself for a dual setup, and I've been surprised at how much better the quality is over my previous Samsung and LG.
Come to New Zealand. They're US$1850 here.
If you've got the horsepower to game at 1600p, it's probably not an issue.
Or your like me, $2500 computer and is running 3 $65 monitors
Dæt sær mycket bra utt!
I do assume it pushes 60hz but isn't that too big of a screen for sitting that close to it?
Yeah it is 60hz, I'm sitting 1 and a half meter from it
I have heard nothing but good reviews of dell monitors 30" is gonna be slick! Also really like your computer case in red!
How much was the monitor?
9500 swedish kronor, so 1470$
Holy mother of god, 1500$?!? you could actually get another very decent gaming setup for that price
Direct currency conversion is wrong.
Still more than enough imho
Damn OP, What monstrosity do you have that can power that damn thing?
Intel Core i7 2600K, XFX Radeon HD7950 3GB, Bitfenix Prodigy Red, Corsair AX850, Corsair Vengeance 8GB, AsRock Z77E-ITX, Samsung SSD 830-Series 128GB, Samsung 500GB & 1TB HDD.
"Ändra bildskärmens utseende"... I SUSPECT YOU'RE FROM SWEDEN!
