I scrolled through the comments just to see if someone pointed this out. I am however assuming that OP thought "Cakeday" means "Birthday". Happy Birthday OP!
Emm... Doesnt it? And thx
Looks nice. What are rocking inside the computer and as a suggestion, you should use some zip-ties to neaten up those cables behind the monitor.
I see, leave them alone then :P That's a nice config. What cooling are you running to get that kind of OC on the core i5?
H100, at load under the IBT around 85
That's not bad. Have you considered doing a custom water loop? 85 on load sounds kind of high especially on OCed hardware. Aren't you worried about longevity issues?
85 is not much under artificial load, when rendering a movie it is around 70 which is completely fine, also thermal throttling starts at 95C so even 85 is fine. Regarding custom loop - I want one, but I dont want to bother it without GPU and I didnt find blocks for my gpu and the other reason is that I dont have money to build a good loop.
It is definitely a significant undertaking, designing a custom loop and hooking up and maintaining all that hardware can be a pain in the ass. If it is around 70 under real load then that sounds a lot better than 85. The cpu might start thermal throttling at 95 but I'm a believer in the school of thought than any heat is bad heat.
Also remember that a custom loop costs quite a bit of money. I was only expecting to pay around 4-500$ but ended up paying close to $700.
Yeah and I dont see too much point in making a loop for a system that I will probably change in a year
I gotta ask, what is that case you have? Also, how'd you get that clear and bright lighting? Just LEDs?
Cool, I've been thinking about purchasing that for myself. Thanks!
HA. I'm not the only one with two different size monitors.
Hello fello HD 558 user. Your gaming setup looks great!
Is that tape on the black widow?
Yes it is carbon fiber, glossy finish drove me NUTS!
But wouldn't that block the led lights that give tell you shit like if the keyboard is on num lock?
Ah, yes you could be right.
Where did you get that desk? I've been looking for something similar.
Nice setup! I love the mouse, what is it?
Looks nice. What game is on the 5th photo?
Great setup. Similar to what I'm looking at when I get myself sorted. Love the case and the look of the desk.
What camera you use for these. The one of your tower is gnar.
Camera used for this is Nikon D3200 with 18-55 kit lense
Oh that is awesome. I use a Pentax K-5 IIs and K-X. Love the pictures.
Opinion on the Blue Snowball? I'm thinking of getting one or maybe a Yeti.
