Its just a high back executive leather chair from the local Office Equipment supplier. Very comfortable with great back support, my only complaint is that it doesn't have much padding in the seat.
I've got one of these at work, can confirm.
Does it have a brand name?
I could have a look I think it's just a fairly generic office chair though.
I have this exact chair. It's kinda falling apart.
I have this chair as well. Great chair.
I have those prints as wallpapers
Nice! Trey Ratcliff does some awesome work. I'd love to see what they look like as wallpaper if you've got photos
Damn, I thought that was a sexy quad monitor setup.
Hey, just wondering if you could post some screen shots of gaming on that monitor, really want to look more into it.
That is just beautiful. I looked at a monitor like this today to replace my current one but the price almost made me cry.
Thanks, it looks great, really hope to have one of these on my desk some day.
Not to be a nitpick or anything, but those are not screen shots.
You're replying to the wrong person. unchima probably noticed that Grampa's request didn't make any sense if taken literally, but rather than correct him he just ignored it. He's looking for pictures of the monitors colors (i assume), screenshots can't show that.
Yeah, now that I read it again, it's not quite clear what he originally wanted.
Looks nice! I have the same cactuar in my office
Can you explain in more detail the prints/framing? Some pictures of how they're backlit would be fantastic.
Ah! I should explain they aren't backlit, it's probably the difference in background light giving the effect.
The lights underneath are low profile LED lights.
Is that Togemon on your desk or just a friendly cactus? :)
Its Sabotender (aka cactaur) from FF
Where did you get the little cactus, It looks cool :)
Love those pictures on the wall, They really pull the whole space together. Would be a little cooler if they matched the color scheme, but otherwise awesome!
How'd you do the prints? I love the idea and would love to do something similar. Are they custom or did you get them from an etsy or something?
Really like what you've done with the prints.
Thank you, I was racking my brains on what to put in them.
First idea was to put some saucy anime pictures in them but decided against that.
The artwork on the right looks like a map on Blacklight: retribution. Useless titbit for you.
That is one fine looking chair
Really love the prints and how they light up! But where are your speakers/headset?
Thanks! The lighting was a bit of a PITA, running mains electricity in the back of the cabinets.
As for the sound system, it's a 5.1 setup with the centre hiding behind the dell monitor. The other two are obscured by them camera angle by my laptop and the Benq monitor.
Do you have a link to those prints? They look AMAZING! Looks like they fit perfectly.
What model of BenQ is that?
It's one I've had a while... Erm I think it's a BenQ G2420HDL
If there's any questions, feel free to ask.
What size is that dell ultrawide?
Its 29" with a 21:9 ratio and a 2560x1080 resolution
Ah okay i was looking at that exact model on newegg... Thinking about going back to just 1 monitor instead of x3 24inch screens to free up some desk space
Its a fantastic monitor however with the progression in OLED & 4k, I'd be tempted to wait & see.
Good point, I may just wait to save money and all.
Just wanted to say by far my favorite gaming setup posted here, it looks mature, comfortable, and fun all at the same time.
Wow!! Thanks! Definitely what I was aiming for but at the beginning I didn't know what I could do.
How much did the set up cost you all together?
Hah! Good question, not sure I can accurately say how much but I don't think it came to much more than £650 ($1050) for the cabinets, lights, chair, prints, counter, etc.
What kind of fps do you get on the dell monitor? Also you mentioned you have two 7950s but it only says one here. I wondering what I would get with your monitor and my single 7870.
I can't say I've spent a lot of time checking FPS values.
Albiet these arent the latest games to be testing with.. Dishonoured and Skyrim (when it was working) played flawlessly for me, which left me happy enough not to go tinkering.
Will do, thanks a lot.
My one question is how exactly does the Dual Monitor system work. I've seen it used a lot with multiple screens but only one tower. But awesome setup.
Thanks. Although my PC spec has 2x ATI 7950s, there are multiple video outputs on the card. I'm using the DisplayPort for the Dell ultrawide screen and HDMI on the Benq
Alright thank you for the response.
Where do you get those frames for the pictures above the monitors? Looks pretty cool.
