One Monitor - Computer Setup

Lamp looks bad ass. It looks like it came from an old library or lawyer's office. Only thing is it just looks like it's blocking your monitor for some reason.

Depending on the work you'll be doing, you might want to turn one monitor to portrait.

Tried vertical to read books, but I didn't enjoy reading books on a screen.

Would get rid of that old lamp, a more modern one might look better, but that's just my taste and opinion

I just bought this lamp! I chose it for the style, although I can see what you mean! I'd prefer to have an old style desk too but I got this desk for free.

The lamp itself is fine in my opinion. I'd just move it. I can only imagine the headaches from the glare right in your face. Put it behind or beside the screens, not in front.

That's what I was thinking. Too close to the monitor. If it was a little taller it may work out better. I would get such a headache after about 5 minutes. Maybe put that lamp on your nightstand and get a taller lamp.

Oh my bad, if you're looking specifically for that old, aged look then maybe a custom wooden keyboard might help. I think that to pull of the look you need something more than just one lamp

They are called 'Bankers lamps' you can buy them at places like Officeworks!

Seems a bit cramped in my opinion. Maybe save up for a bigger desk, if you have the room.

Fuck the people saying to get rid of the lamp. That's an awesome old school lamp, keep it.

Consider having a dimmer bulb in the lamp? Love the look btw.

Don't need them! Since I already touch type, I thought it would be cool to purchase blank keycaps, it always keeps normal people away from the keyboard because they're like 'wow how do i know if I am pressing the right button!?'

Get a coaster for your drinks, don't want to ruin the table top.
