Other Monitor - Computer Setup

What keyboard are you using? Looks like a cm storm, but I cant be sure.
Good eye :) it is a cm storm
Ah, thought so. What kind of switches does it have? What are your impressions of using it? (Considering getting one)
Awesome setup... But... Damn those lenses, awesome.
How the hell did you afford those lenses. I would just love to own one L series lens for my camera, I'm jealous.
The thing with Lenses is, that they tend to be on market for a very, very long time, so what you see here is the result of 8 years of saving and buying. I basically end up buying one piece per year, maybe 2 if im doing a specific trip and want to shoot something i normally dont do (this is how i ended up with the fisheye, on a trip to hawaii, and i fell in love with it, as cheesy as fisheyes are )
Get a 50mm 1.4, cheaper than the 1.2L and on par with it. Its a rookie mistake going with the 1.2L just because its an L lens.
I have had, at alternating points in the last few years, both of the "lighter" 50mms, i loved the 1.4, but, despite babying the crap out of my lenses, i still managed to break them. I decided to set two rules for myself:
I started saving for a fast lens not long after I got my 7D and 17-40mm f4 in 2009. I finally saved enough and bought the 85mm f1.2. It's not an easy lens to master, I.e. auto focusing, but when you nail it the results will be astonishing.
I know.... i rented the 85mm once for a week and i was blown away by it, i had to stop myself from spending the mortgage money to buy it right then and there... still really torn between the two though, i think im going to end up with the 50mm simply for having more options indoor though, ideal world, id get both :) (i probably will anyways in the long run)
I agree with what someone else said...how the hell can you afford em.. I guess it all boils down to dedication and priority. I'd love to have the both 8-15 and 70-300. I've got a sigma 70-300 for my Nikon D70s, and the stock one, 24-75 (I believe) but. Would actually need to buy a new camera house as well.. Though computers take up too much money.
What game is that you got going? Looks pretty cool :) Nice setup
Final Fantasy 14, first non-eve MMO that ive ever stuck with, its actually a really good game.
Upvote for realm reborn, luvin it myself.
So much envy for the telephotos
This is the first 4+ monitor setup I've seen that doesn't look tacky and unnecessary. It all looks great!
What kind of desk is this?
This might be a dumb question, but I've been wondering. How do you have the game full screen yet still be able to move the mouse over to the other monitors? Also, on the right horizontal monitor, how do you fit it to only the left half of the screen with the other monitor right there? Thanks and sick setup man!
I am not the op but I can answer those questions.
Ahh. Thanks a bunch! I didn't know about borderless mode or about the keyboard shortcuts!
Depends on the game, this is final fantasy 14, which allows for "borderless" window mode, making it so i can treat it as a window, and thus move around without alt-tabbing. As for your other question, im afraid i dont understand? the windows on the rest of the monitors are just standard browser windows, so i can resize them at will.
What type of lighting are you using behind the monitors? I'd love to make my desk like this.
One of the ikea LED sets, whatever the round ones are, they are the multi-colored version
Im not sure about everyone else, but I would love to see the horse that powers all that!
OP, I'm gonna steal all your camera equipment. Hopefully you don't mind!
Awesome set-up man. Quick q: Where did you get that 2001 poster!?
I wish i could point you to somewhere online to buy it, i ended up finding it at a comic convention in providence RI..
I am sorry but I just could not get into FF14, but I won't remove your post. You're lucky this time.
