Tested one of your maps, wibi chambers or something like that? had some real nice funky orange cubes. Remembered your username.
Ah yes, the Wibi!Data tests. Those were... interesting I'm working on much cooler stuff now. :D
Wow, that looks awesome. Give me a PM if you need a tester ;)
Heh, all in time man... That project has so much work left to it.
Cool, what type of HDs are you using and are then in a raid?
Ive got the exact same Keyboard, Mic, Mouse and Mousepad :) What is the thing that you're using around your blue snowball?
Oh, now i see that it is a headset, thought it was a pop filter or something.
I need to get a pop filter...
Is that a drawing pad? If so, which one and how does it perform?
It's the wacom Pen and Touch. Was about $50, and does what I need it to do. Just casual sketches and touch ups in photoshop.
Gotcha, I only ask because I've got the Wacom Bamboo Splash (their entry level tablet nowadays, also about 50 bucks) and I want to know what the difference between it and something 5x as expensive is.
Its hard to tell from the pic but that case how big is it? Seems like every case I want is huge.
It's a pretty big case. Was a pleasure to work in though.
Ah I believe it. I don't mind bigger cases but I just don't have the room for that. And with Lan partys having a smaller case is definitely a plus.
How are you liking the U2312HM Ultra Sharps? Probably a dumb question but I'm about to pull the trigger on a couple of them.
They are awesome. You won't be sad.
Thanks for posting and then answering everyone's questions to which I will add onto: you have 1 graphics card and 3 monitors... are you utilizing the 2 mini displays and the HDMI? did you have to add any special software for that?
My previous set up had a 4th display (a TV).
On my 7950 I needed an active adapter for my third monitor . Your hdmi to dvi may be active. Just fyi incase anyone is planning.
I like your choice of parts. You indulged into X79 without making it that much more expensive, if not the same, than a mainstream system. I love this build/system. Amazing job.
I keep seeing a trend in pics of people's gaming rigs where the PSU is on the bottom of the case. like constantly. when did that happen?
On almost every case I've touched that costs more than 30$, the PSU is on the bottom. It's actually much nicer for cable management.
Literally never seen one in person. But I don't buy them often so I s'pose. Hm.
Your crayon art poster is going to melt from the fan blowing on it!
I have that same monitor and I love it, I can understand why you have 3.
I would move the graphics card to the top PCI slot so that it's running at X16 speeds, unless that is X16
The board has 4 PCIe slots. They go:
Any plans on a vesa mount? looks like a great setup.
Na, too much hassle, especially when I move the desk around the room.
What is that that you're using to hold up your headphones? Looks interesting.
What do you think of your speakers? I've got the same pair and love them, I've never been able to find a sound card that'll work with them that makes a noticeable difference though.
I was wondering which type of desk you had. I'm looking to upgrade mine and yours looks very nice.
I have just one of those monitors. Great choice.
Looks like the next investment is a proper audio solution, either headphones or speakers!
There is already a 5.1 system installed, and a decent headset. What would I get?
I've got the Siberia headset as well and it's solid for my ears. Some people have strong opinions on audio, though. Always take a good listen before making the investment.
I hardly touch the headset, I hat wearing one. So I always use the 5.1 system. It works great with the addition of the Dolby software.
