RT-N16? Look up ddwrt and install it if you haven't already.
I have an RT-N66U and I absolutely love it on stock firmware. No complaints at all. Would it still be advisable to look into ddwrt?
Yes. You can do so many awesome things with DD-WRT. Besides that, it's also open source (probably more secure).
Yeah, the fact that you can increase the range of your wifi makes it worth it for me.
In the US and the EU you have to be very careful with that.
There are laws governing the 2.4 and 5ghz radio bands.
Ya, but who actually drives around and checks everyone's WiFi?
Err... A lot of things broadcast on the 2.4 ghz spectrum. Believe me we can tell when someone is boosting. Usually you won't get a letter unless are going more than half a mile off your property.
You have the best tower. 600T FTW!
I think that thing is fugly.
I can see how a lot of people don't like it but it looks better in person.
Looks really good. When the 770s come it will also perform really well.
I'd prefer it over any other really. got it as a present from a friend.
Yeah, I have the same one (A4Tech X7 G800V, right?) and for a 15 euro keyboard I am amazed. Was just wondering what other people think of it.
How long have you had the steel series head set? I got mine 2 weeks ago and so far I love it, wondering if it'll wear out though after a couple of months
I have just replaced my steelseries v1 headset with a v2. The v1 lasted for 4 years and is still functioning.
If you can wait till 2014 the 800 series will be out in q1. The 700 series are just a souped up 600.
You can make ththat arguement every year
I used hd 4000 graphics for about 4 months before getting my 7850, I was impressed by its performance on some games as long as you run them windowed and on the lowest settings you can get playable frame rates on most games
If you're running a single monitor, then what's that LG monitor doing next to it? You have some explaining to do!
You have "atm" to understand!
Yeah, I'd stick with the single monitor to be honest, non matching monitors don't look right.
I'm just using to monitor TS3, time, CPU usage and a camera on my front door, nothing high profile.
A single 780 would have been a better choice than 2 770s IMO.
Uh, two 770s will give both much better performance and much better value for money than one 780. A 780 gives about 14% more performance and costs 62.5% more.
Don't get me wrong, it might be a better bang for the buck at the moment. But my usual MO is to buy a top tier card, then sli during the next gen, rinse and repeat.
That might work fine for you if you have extra money, but doing the same thing with one step below the top tier gives you way better value. The vast majority of people will be better off with a 770 than 780 this generation since they raised the price a lot on the 780 compared to the 680 but didn't on the 770 vs the 670.
You're gonna spend more on SLI 770s than a 680.
I don't see how that's relevant to what I was saying, but:
I meant 780, not 680. My bad.
